Position Purpose:
As a Residential Care Advisor-Medical & Financial in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities department at Pittsburgh Mercy, you will provide person-centered residential support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role focuses on coordinating medical care and financial support to promote health, stability, and quality of life.
What You Will Do:
- Individualized Support & Care:
Provide daily living assistance, emotional and behavioral support, and implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) to promote independence and well‑being. - Medical & Financial Coordination:
Coordinate medical appointments and financial resources, including SSI, DPW, Medicare, and Rent Rebates. Complete medication documentation, annual assessments, and money management assessments as required. - Documentation & Collaboration:
Maintain accurate communication logs and behavior notes. Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. - Leadership Support:
Provide technical assistance to other staff and assist with orientation of new employees as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree OR High School Diploma/Equivalence and 1 year of paid social services work experience
- Valid Driver License and ability to drive an organization vehicle.

Job Summary
Independent community hospital is currently interviewing for a fifth Anesthesiologist due to increase case load in growing hospital employed practice. Anesthesiologist will rotate between three primary locations: Medical Center (7000 total OR procedures/year), the adjacent Surgical Center (3000 procedures/year), and Hospital (2300 total OR procedures/year). The group provides medical direction for all employed CRNAs. The Medical Center has 300 deliveries/year and other Hospital has 150 deliveries/year; no open heart or intracranial procedures. Outpatient pain management is provided by another specialty group.
