Contract Project Coordinator – Hardware / New Product Introduction (NPI)
Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the execution of new product introduction (NPI) programs for hardware-based products. This role will work closely with program leadership and cross-functional teams to keep initiatives organized, transparent, and moving forward.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys driving execution, coordinating technical teams, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks in complex product development environments.
The position is a 3–4 month contract with a hybrid schedule and occasional onsite meetings in Duluth, GA.
What You’ll Do
- Support coordination of hardware new product introduction (NPI) programs
- Attend key program meetings and produce clear meeting minutes and action tracking
- Maintain and follow up on action items and cross-team dependencies
- Help ensure Jira tasks, milestones, and updates remain accurate and current
- Assist in preparing program reporting and leadership updates
- Maintain organized program documentation and materials
- Provide execution support that enables the Program Manager and technical teams to focus on delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting cross-functional programs or product development initiatives
- Exposure to hardware product development, manufacturing, or NPI environments
- Technical acumen and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams
- (Experience with electronics, wireless, or RF-based systems is a plus)

Job Summary
This role is responsible for managing multiple programs from inception to market delivery and will work with diversified teams across hardware, software, operations, and finance. Manages schedules, risks, change management, budget, program meetings and reporting up to executive leadership. Must be capable of critical thinking to help resolve roadblocks but cannot lose sight of the overall delivery. Should be seen as a supportive leader who can maintain a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Comprehend and communicate product vision and requirements for hardware and or software products
- Document hardware and software product requirements to support development
- Deliver product through cross-functional programs requiring coordination with project, product, and resource managers
- Manage concurrent programs in a fast-paced and fluid development environment
- Develop program schedules allowing for management and reporting of program status
- Influence, mentor and motivate internal and external project members without managerial authority, to deliver programs on schedule
- Communicate program status to team members and stakeholders in a clear, effective, and timely manner
- Coordinate program risk assessments, document and manage mitigation strategies and triggers
- Leads change management efforts (process, tools, behaviors)
- Track and report program budget health
- Identifies and leads efforts for better program processes and practices
- Mentor, coach and develop Program Teams, Project Managers and other Program Managers

The Implementation Consultant is responsible for being a subject matter expert in the respective functional area. This role involves overseeing the client implementation process, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, all while ensuring an exceptional client experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the client implementation process for new PEO clients, ensuring a seamless transition to our services.
- Lead the client's full implementation by understanding their requirements and configuring our PEO solutions to meet their needs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation phase, addressing their concerns, answering questions, and providing expert guidance on system configuration and best practices.
