- Locum Tenens Opportunity Near Worcester, MA We are seeking an experienced Radiation Oncologist for a locum tenens position near Worcester, MA.
This opportunity offers a flexible schedule and involves providing both inpatient and outpatient care.
You will play a critical role in covering gaps while we recruit a permanent provider, ensuring that patients receive the high-quality care they need.
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive radiation oncology care to both inpatient and outpatient populations.
Perform required procedures, including: Conventional Radiotherapy 3D Conformal Radiotherapy (3D-CRT) Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy Manage an outpatient caseload of approximately 25 patients per day.
Handle inpatient consults, treatment planning, weekly on-treatment visits, and follow-ups.
Participate in weekly Tumor Boards, contributing to the multidisciplinary care team.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging, and prescribe appropriate treatments.
Maintain excellent communication with patients, staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
