As a System Integration Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will work on a team with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, reporting to the system integration engineering manager. This is a small team of highly motivated people designing, testing, and flying advanced automated systems. We enjoy combining mechanical and electrical hardware and getting it onto an aircraft safely and quickly.

Responsibilities

In your role as a system integration engineer, you will get to own vehicle level projects through the planning, design, and testing phases of development. You will own a large breadth of projects from primary flight control hardware, data acquisition hardware, hardware in the loop testing, ground station development, and integration with the software and human machine interface teams. You will be responsible for performing system design, test, and installation readiness reviews which will require defining system bring up testing and pre flight functional testing requirements.

My client is an early-stage, consumer AI product team building a next-generation social experience on top of an existing messaging ecosystem.

Their product is currently live in a limited university pilot across California, with strong early engagement signals.

This is a small, senior team operating with high ownership, fast iteration cycles, and a strong product-first culture. They believe great consumer products are built by people who deeply understand systems, user behavior, and real-world constraints β€” not by process alone.


Looking for a hands-on Product Leader to own the product end-to-end β€” from problem definition to shipped features, from early experiments to scaled systems.

This is not a coordination-only role. You will work directly with engineering and design, make hard tradeoffs, and shape both product strategy and execution.


What you will do

  • Own 0β†’1 and 1β†’N product development for a consumer AI product
  • Design and iterate core user flows (onboarding, messaging, engagement loops)
  • Work closely with engineers on system constraints, API design, and AI integration
  • Define success metrics, run rapid experiments, and make data-informed decisions
  • Lead early-stage product discovery with real users, especially college students
  • Balance growth, safety, trust, and long-term product integrity

What we’re looking for

  • 5–10+ years building consumer or platform products
  • Proven experience shipping real products (not just roadmaps)
  • Strong system thinking: able to reason about constraints, tradeoffs, and scale
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete data
  • Founder mindset: high ownership, low ego, deeply hands-on

In this role, you'll be the connective tissue that keeps our offices running smoothly and feeling great. From the moment a visitor walks through the door to the moment an employee grabs a snack before a late night, you'll be responsible for the environment that makes great work possible.


This is a hands-on, ownership role for someone early in their career who thrives on variety, takes pride in the details, and wants to be part of something bigger. No two days will look the same. You might be coordinating a swag shipment in the morning, onboarding a new hire's building access at lunch, and ordering catered snacks and smoothies before a team event in the afternoon. If you're someone who notices what needs to be done before anyone asks, you'll fit right in.


What You'll Do

  • Keep our offices running: Perform day-to-day operational tasks to maintain clean, functional, and well-organized facilities across our San Francisco and Los Angeles offices.
  • Own building access: Issue, manage, and audit employee and visitor access credentials. Serve as the point of contact for access-related questions and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Manage swag: Source, organize, inventory, and fulfill swag orders for employees, customers, and events. Coordinate with vendors and ensure quality and on-time delivery.
  • Stock and maintain the kitchen: Keep kitchens stocked with snacks, beverages, and supplies. Monitor inventory, place orders, and ensure spaces stay clean and welcoming throughout the day.
  • Create a great first impression: Maintain a polished, organized lobby and common areas. Greet visitors and ensure they feel welcomed and taken care of from arrival to departure.
  • Support office initiatives: Assist with office events, team lunches, vendor coordination, and other operational projects as needed.
  • Identify and solve problems: Notice what's not working and fix it, or flag it to the right person. Bring a proactive mindset to everything from facilities maintenance to supply management.
