The General Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks a Complex Family Planning specialist for a full-time position. This is an exciting opportunity to add to the Department’s expertise in the area of Complex Family Planning. Ideal candidates are board-certified or eligible physicians with fellowship training in complex family planning or equivalent experience who are interested in resident education, research, and direct patient care within a faculty practice. Provision of obstetric care is optional.

Members of the General Division supervise resident continuity clinics, a dedicated resident family planning rotation, the gynecology teaching service, and in-hospital gynecologic consultation. Additionally, they have an active role in medical student education. Current faculty includes three specialists in family planning. Other areas of expertise within the Division include minimally invasive surgery, vulvar disease, menopause, gender-affirming care, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, and breastfeeding.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute, Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, is recruiting a full-time Gynecologic Oncologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The division comprises eight gynecologic oncologists, five scientists (studying endometrial cancer genomics and ovarian cancer signaling), and supports six gynecologic oncology fellows per year in a three-year fellowship program. We have close ties with genetic counselors and specialist pharmacists embedded in our clinic practices. We also have a large number of nurse practitioners, both in independent practice and supporting physician practices. We have discharge planning, care coordination, and social work staff who facilitate patient flow and quality care. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking an outstanding obstetrician-gynecologist for a full-time position within the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This is an exciting opportunity to expand the Department’s services. Ideal candidates are board-certified or eligible physicians interested in resident education and direct patient care at an academic center. Members of the division supervise resident continuity clinics and gynecologic teaching services and provide in-hospital gynecologic consultation. Additionally, they have an active role in medical student education. The division has an active faculty practice at five outpatient sites and one labor and delivery facility. Providers include 26 obstetrician-gynecologists, four gynecologists, and 16 nurse-midwives. Faculty expertise includes minimally invasive surgery, family planning, vulvar disease, menopause, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, and breastfeeding.

The Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University is a state-of-the-art tertiary care center with a planned new hospital opening in 2026. The Ohio State University College of Medicine graduates approximately 200 medical students per year. The obstetrics and gynecology residency program is integrated with the Mount Carmel Medical System and trains 11 residents per year.
