Our client is seeking a Production Supervisor for an excellent on-site position located near the Stockbridge, GA area. Reporting to the GM, this role is responsible for:
- Supervising operations for 1st shift, with a focus on the line, people management, safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Responsible for documentation, safety policies & PPE, operational procedures & training, machine performance, inventory, etc.
- Additional projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment, directly managing the line and team.
- Ability to work assigned shifts, advance-notice changes, and some weekends as needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication with all levels.
- Team-oriented leadership, managing personnel with minimal operational downtime
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues
- Comfortable with business applications to include ERP, Scheduling, WMS, and Microsoft products
- Excellent verbal, written, and team communication skills

Shifts available:
3rd shift: Monday - Friday from 10:30pm - 7:30am
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Supervise dock associates during assigned shifts, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks
- Monitor productivity, quality, and safety standards throughout the facility
- Train, coach, and develop team members to achieve performance goals
- Address employee questions, concerns, and performance issues in real-time
- Coordinate the movement of inbound and outbound shipments
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Communicate with leadership and other departments to resolve operational issues
- Complete daily reports on labor, workflow, and production performance
- Support continuous improvement efforts and operational efficiency
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Problem solving and analytical skills, as well as a strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic, ability to multitask
- A competitive and career-oriented mindset
- 0-5 years supervisory or management experience in a warehousing, distribution or transportation environment
