Medical Malpractice Attorney
Location: Philadelphia, PA
A well-established plaintiff-side law firm is seeking a Medical Malpractice Attorney to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful cases while collaborating with experienced attorneys and a dedicated support staff.
Responsibilities:
- Handle medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Take and defend depositions
- Communicate with clients, medical experts, and opposing counsel
- Prepare cases for mediation, settlement discussions, and trial
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the state bar
- Experience handling medical malpractice cases
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage cases and work in a collaborative environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $150,000 – $180,000 annually

Practice Setting: Inpatient, with no outpatient responsibilities.

Schedule and Coverage Weekday Rounding: Monday-Friday, 7 AM
- 5 PM at one hospital per day.
Night Call: 5 PM
- 7 AM (phone consultations only).
Weekend Call and Rounding: Includes calls and in-person rounding both Saturday and Sunday.
Weekend shifts run from Friday 5 PM through Monday 7 AM.
