A sleep technologist works under the general supervision of the medical director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. A sleep technologist is credentialed in sleep technology and is able to provide oversight of other sleep center staff. Overview:
Under the general supervision of Therapy Leadership and according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral, standards of treatment, performs objective assessments, as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. - Assess patient condition.

Qualifications
Education
- Completion of an accredited two-year or four-year program in radiologic technology, accredited by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
Experience
- One (1) year of experience as a registered radiologic technologist preferred. Additional one (1) year of CT experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification
- American Registry of Radiologist Technology registered or registry eligible.
- Advanced registry in CT required within 18 months of orientation.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment.
- IV certification required before or during new hire orientation.

- $23.79-$38.86/hr based on previous work experience
