This position supports not only HR operations β but also the success and understanding of our employee-owners.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding
β’ Maintain HRIS, employee records, and compliance documentation
β’ Administer benefits, leave, and payroll coordination
β’ Support performance management and employee development
β’ Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and fairness
β’ Ensure compliance with labor laws, policies, and required postings
β’ Assist leadership with ESOP and profit-sharing documentation and communications
β’ Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and appreciation events
β’ Serve on the Safety Committee and promote a safe workplace
β’ Provide hands-on HR guidance to managers and employee-owners
Qualifications:
Bachelorβs degree
5β7 years of progressive HR experience
Experience in an ESOP or employee-owned company strongly preferred
PHR or SPHR certification preferred
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
High level of discretion and professionalism
Ability to thrive in a visible, collaborative environment

β’ Execute scientific research and development to significantly improve platform processes and workflows, develop new methods, build technical expertise and intellectual property, and deepen scientific understanding.
β’ Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with colleagues in other functional areas (Analytical Development, Cell Line Development, Discovery, Manufacturing and Quality).
β’ Proactively seek out new information and opportunities to advance our technologies and pipeline. Critically evaluate relevant scientific, regulatory and business advances and integrate this knowledge.
β’ Effectively communicate scientific data and concepts to internal and external audiences through reports, presentations and manuscripts. Author and review technical reports, protocols, and other key documents.
β’ Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding code of conduct, safety, documentation and GMP compliance.
Qualifications:
β’ M.S. in biochemical/chemical engineering or life sciences related disciplines with 2+ years of industrial experience; or B.S. in biochemical/chemical engineering or life sciences related disciplines with 5+ years of industrial experience.
β’ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong scientific curiosity with a passion for problem-solving and optimization. Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Strong organizational, planning and trouble-shooting skills.
β’ Understanding of cell culture processes (e.g., cell culture process development, process scale up and scale down, recombinant protein production, protein characterization).
β’ Proven experience working aseptically in cell culture processes at benchtop bioreactor scale.
