Position Overview:The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) in Reno, NV, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced physician to serve as the Deputy Chief of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR). The Deputy Chief will work closely with the Chief of PMR to oversee and enhance the delivery of exceptional rehabilitative and physical medicine services to our veteran population in the Reno area. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chief of PMR in the administration, planning, evaluation, and implementation of the PMR program.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: · Installation and removal: Install and remove submersible and vertical turbine pumps; understand system configuration, assembly sequence, and key features of the pump system.

Collect and document detailed performance data in handwritten or digital spreadsheets.

· Troubleshooting issues: Troubleshoot basic pump performance issues.

Includes understanding pump mechanics, assembly/disassembly of components, electrical controls including use of a multimeter verify electrical supply power.

Evaluate and determine next steps for repair or replacement and communicate with supervisor.

LEADERSHIP: · Communicate externally: Articulate project operations and objectives clearly to customers as well as Stonehouse leaders · Project lead: Independently manage pump projects, read and interpret project specifications, and mentor other pump technicians YOU MUST HAVE: · Experience and education: Must have 2+ years of relevant experience in water well pump systems and a high school diploma or equivalent.

· Operational experience: Must have experience with machinery through work in construction, drilling, electrical, mechanical, or other contract projects.

· Ability to travel and work remotely up to 100% of the time.

All work is outdoors and is year-round.

· Drug-free status: Must be able to pass regular DOT drug screenings.
