*Job Overview*
The *Civil Site Improvement Site Superintendent* is responsible for overseeing all field operations related to civil site work, including grading, utilities, paving, erosion control, and stormwater management. This role ensures that work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards. The Superintendent serves as the primary on-site leader, coordinating subcontractors, field crews, inspections, and materials.

*Responsibilities*
* Ensure adherence to improvement schedules and scheduling of crews and equipment.
* Manage daily site activities for civil improvements including excavation, grading, utility installation, and paving.
* Interpret and enforce project plans and specifications.
* Coordinate subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries to maintain workflow.
* Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
* Monitor quality of work and ensure adherence to design tolerances and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain daily field reports, progress photos, and logs in *Procore*.
* Communicate regularly with the Project Manager regarding schedule updates, field issues, and resource needs.
* Interface with inspectors, engineers, and clients to facilitate approvals and resolve conflicts.
* Ensure erosion control and stormwater measures are properly installed and maintained.
* Lead and mentor field crews to promote productivity and accountability.
*Required Qualifications:*
* Minimum 5–7 years of experience in civil site construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
* Strong knowledge of grading, utilities, stormwater systems, and site layout.
* Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specifications, and survey data.
* Proficiency with *Procore*, or similar construction management software.
* OSHA 30 certification preferred.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Valid driver’s license; ability to travel between job sites as needed.
*Working Conditions:*
* Outdoor construction environments with exposure to weather, dust, and heavy equipment.
* May require overtime, weekend work, and travel between sites.
* Physical demands include walking, standing, and climbing on uneven terrain.
