The Pain Physician provides specialized medical care to patients experiencing acute or chronic pain, focusing on restoring function and improving quality of life through interventional procedures, rehabilitation, and medication management.   • Prescribe medications and monitor patient response to ensure safety and efficacy.
  • Educate patients on their diagnosis, treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and care expectations.
  • Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Comply with clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and organizational policies.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, peer reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine
  • MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Texas medical license
  • Strong clinical skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Clinical background in Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
