Position Details: 

• Self/preferential scheduling posted four weeks in advance for you to have predictability in your schedule

What you will do in this role: 

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery 
• Provide patient and family education surrounding the procedure and peri-operative process
• Assume responsibility for patient preparation, including intravenous therapy, preoperative medications, and surgical site verification 
• Participate in surgical site verification, including briefing, time out, debriefing, and universal protocols, according to hospital policy 
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies 
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while managing evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives 
• Be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team – consisting of the provider(s), surgeons, surgical technologists and more 
• Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients
• Assess patient condition, monitor throughout your shift, and document changes in patient condition along with the care provided thoroughly 
• Educate patients and families/caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment and follow-up measures 

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse with an active license in the state of Texas or a compact
• Associate Degree required, Bachelors Degree preferred
• 1 year of experience working in the CVOR required

• Assists with staff scheduling. Manages all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
• Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse with an active license in the state of Texas or multistate license including Texas

• 2+ years working on a Neuro Ortho dedicate unit within an acute hospital setting required.

Job Summary and Qualifications 

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. • Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff. Recommends and implements courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively better organization.
• Assists with staff scheduling. Manages all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
• Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse with an active license in the state of Texas or a compact license
• Bachelors Degree preferred, or Associate Degree required. Must be willing to get Bachelor's degree within 2 years
• 2+ years of experience working on a med surg unit in an acute hospital setting required

Position Details: 

• Self/preferential scheduling posted four weeks in advance for you to have predictability in your schedule

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery

• Participate in surgical site verification, including briefing, time out, debriefing, and universal protocols, according to hospital policy 
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies 
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while managing evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives 
• Be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team – consisting of the provider(s), surgeons, surgical technologists and more

As a Case Manager, your role will be to support patients and families through every step of their care journey. You will coordinate services, connect resources, and develop care plans that reflect each patient’s unique needs. By partnering with physicians, nurses, and department leaders, you will help ensure safe transitions, clear communication, and consistent quality across the continuum of care. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Guiding patients and families through program orientation, explaining the rehabilitation philosophy, Medicare and insurance benefits, discharge criteria, and patient rights 
• Coordinating education for patients, families, and caregivers to encourage participation in treatment planning, goal discussions, and family conferences 
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that reflect the patient’s strengths, needs, and personal recovery goals
