$17.50 -$20.50/hour

The Phlebotomist and Specimen Processor will be part of our Laboratory team and work collaboratively with clinical staffwhile providing excellent service to patients to obtain and process specimens.

Phlebotomist and Specimen Processor responsibilities:

• Collect and/or prepare laboratory specimens for testing, including blood and body fluids according standard operating procedures.
• Verify test requisitions by comparing orders in electronic medical record and resolve discrepancies with nurse or provider.
• Obtain blood by performing venipunctures.
• Maintain specimen integrity by using aseptic technique, following department procedures and track according to standard procedures.
• Perform rounds to collect specimens drawn by nursing in the pods and deliver to appropriate testing area in the Laboratory.
• Perform waived testing for Covid, Flu, RSV, Strep A, Urine HCG and Urine drug screen.
• Reconcile the specimens being sent to our reference laboratory.
• Assist in maintaining supply inventories.
• Responsible for complying with all company policies regarding adherence to OSHA, Chemical Hygiene, Infection Control, Blood Borne Pathogens, and HIPPA regulations while performing job-related duties as assigned.Assign International Classification of Disease system-10(ICD) CM codes according to AHA – AMA Guidelines, CMS and NGS.

High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)

One or more years of experience in phlebotomist and specimen processor role.

We are seeking a Level 4 Senior Staff RF Engineer with a strong systems engineering focus to lead the architecture, analysis, and optimization of advanced RF systems for radar and communication applications. This role will require the ability to derive complete RF system budgets, assess and manage key performance parameters such as phase noise, CPCR (Clutter Power to Carrier Ratio), CA (Coherent Ambiguity), and more, while collaborating across engineering disciplines to ensure system performance exceeds mission requirements.

We are seeking RF Engineers with deep expertise in antenna systems, element/mutual coupling, and free-space radiation performance—and the proven ability to rapidly evaluate, troubleshoot, and optimize existing antenna designs. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Derive and document RF system requirements working collaboratively with multiple technical disciplines 
• Develop innovative RF subsystem and system architectures
• Simulate, model, design, select and characterize components 
• Design, implement, test, and integrate RF circuit cards and subsystems for use in our radar, and other sensor systems
• Participate in cross-functional technical design reviews
• Perform and support integration and test activities and events
• Support or perform project planning, execution, and oversight
• Provide mentorship to junior staff

Required Qualifications:

• (Master’s or PhD preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in RF system design
• Demonstrated experience deriving and validating system-level RF budgets.
• Demonstrated skills in software simulation platforms such as Ansys HFSS, Genesys, CST, MATLAB, or Python
•  Experience and interest in one or more of the following areas:
  • Antennas and Phased Arrays
  • Receivers

• Strong skills with RF measurement equipment

Job Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas of the club in accordance with company standards and guidelines along with assuring the highest degree of quality member and guest care is maintained at all times. The Full Time Housekeeper is responsible for all aspects of cleaning and general maintenance in the club.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily activities to include appropriate cleaning of all areas of the club.
• Planning, organizing and directing self to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction, that all daily workflow is completed and that housekeeping consistently meets company standards.
• Work closely with Operations Manager to ensure all housekeeping needs are being met on a daily basis.
• Assist in the purchase, re-order and maintenance of housekeeping supplies and inventory using existing company purchase ordering and budgeting systems.
• Conduct regular walk-through assessments of the club with management to ensure standards are being met and with housekeeping staff for coaching and development opportunities.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within Housekeeping department.
• Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment; makes arrangements for repair and/or replacement of used and damaged equipment.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

• Previous experience in housekeeping and time management a must
• The ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitask
• Working knowledge of basic housekeeping equipment including, but not limited to, floor maintenance, power washing, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of Housekeeping process and procedures.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while ensuring effective completion of assigned workflow

The Downtown Committee of Syracuse is a downtown management organization whose purpose is to improve downtown's image, strengthen its economic base, increase its attractiveness, and assure that it's clean, safe, and accessible. The primary focus of the outdoor maintenance crew is to keep Downtown Syracuse clean and attractive. The maintenance crew is responsible for litter control, graffiti removal, power washing, lawn mowing, weeding, snowplowing, landscaping, and street furniture repair and maintenance.

Reports To: Environmental Maintenance Supervisor

Rate is $21/hour.

Position Requirements:

• Ability to operate small equipment, tractors/bobcat and perform small engine maintenance
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to crouch, bend and stoop
• Ability to perform job duties in a variety of outdoor weather conditions
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and retain information
• Ability to use trade tools
• Must be able to use cell phone and other equipment as required
• Requires frequent lifting or carrying of objects up to 50 pounds
• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure, a positive attitude, and be a team-player.

Qualifications and Experience:

Responsible, self-motivated individual with a positive outlook who can learn quickly and follow instructions accurately. A valid NYS Driver's License is required along with a good driving record. Experience driving a truck, van, tractor and utility vehicles to transport equipment, supplies, materials and debris. Must conform to a dress code and High School Degree is preferred. Experience in landscaping and mowing preferred.
