WAREHOUSE INVENTORY CLERK | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS: The Warehouse Inventory Clerk will perform essential inventory-related functions, supporting our manufacturing and quality departments by maintaining accurate records of raw materials and finished goods.
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates WAREHOUSE INVENTORY CLERK | RESPONSIBILITIES: Inventory Accuracy: Maintain records of all incoming and outgoing material transactions, including receiving, shipping, and transferring.
Reporting: Generate reports from the ERP system as needed.
Reconciliation: Reconcile discrepancies between perpetual inventory records and physical counts.
Cycle Counting: Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure system integrity and assist in investigating anomalies.
Material Handling: Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials and finished goods.
Compliance: Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety/quality guidelines.
Asset Management: Coordinate the destruction of obsolete or unusable materials as directed.
WAREHOUSE INVENTORY CLERK | REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
Experience: Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel) is required.
Technical Skills: Strong basic math skills.
Certifications: Forklift experience is required.
Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
Environment: Ability to perform in a metrics-driven environment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/move over 50 lbs.
Physical Demands & Work Environment Candidates must be comfortable working near moving mechanical parts and in various warehouse conditions.
Regular physical activity is required, including: Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and balancing.
