Job Description

Position Description:

Responsible for answering phones and maintaining a log of calls received. Dispatch housekeeping services according to guest and management requests. Resolve guest complaints and answer questions.

Job Functions

  • Schedule staff based on occupancy levels, including scheduling for PTOs.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records (time and attendance) in the Company’s timekeeping system.
  • Prepare GRA room assignments.
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of hotel services and hours of operation.
  • Handle heavy incoming call volume.
  • Log calls and delegate guest requests and work order requests to appropriate personnel.
  • Accurately document and maintain the lost-and-found log.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

  • Prior experience in a similar position preferred.
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must have good typing skills.
  • Must be computer literate and able to operate standard office equipment.
  • Must be able to learn and/or effectively use the company’s computerized systems (such as e-mail, timekeeping, and HOTSOS).
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
