This includes MRI and molecular imaging (PET/SPECT/CT) labs that can support imaging research for humans, animals, and materials. The candidate would be able conduct basic science research, or translational research with the U of I faculty. The candidate will be supported to develop relationships and collaborate with the existing researchers as well as physicians in other clinical departments. The candidate will be supported to attract intramural and extramural funding, and develop hypothesis driven research protocols. Research start-up package will be provided to support new graduates.
