We are seeking a footwear design intern for the summer.Β This opportunity might appeal to students with majors such as: Footwear, Industrial, Apparel, Hardgoods, Graphic, or Illustration Design.
At the start you will be given a hands-on, self-driven project for the duration of the internship that makes anΒ excellentΒ addition to your portfolio. Throughout your internship, you will reportΒ directly to a Senior level Designer and assist the entire design teamΒ designing the shoes, hands on. You will research color, material and trends and assist inΒ setting up specs.
You will also engageΒ inΒ interactive Q&A sessions with our executives and learnΒ how the the entire design development process works from start to finish and how design skills are applied in a corporate setting.Β Join us for a summer of style, creativity, and hands-on learning.
Qualifications include:
- A passionate, driven student or recent grad eager to learn.
- Preferred interestΒ in footwear or soft goods design
- Preferred interestΒ in fashion, trends, color, materials
- Strong presentation/sketching/ideation skills
- A team player with a creative mindset and strong attention to detail.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Ideally, proficient in Adobe Illustrator
- Positive personality, collaborator, good listener
- Preferred 3D experience in any of the following *but not required:

Role Description
As the Horticultural Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our garden center, including plant care and maintenance, inventory management, and customer service. This is a full-time on-site position located at our Milwaukee, WI location. You will work closely with other store managers to ensure the success of these stores. You will lead a team of garden center associates to provide exceptional service to our customers.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of horticultural practices, including plant care, pest control, and watering techniques
- Experience in garden center or nursery management, with a proven track record of success
- Ability to manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking products
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience with team management and staff development
- A passion for plants and gardening
- Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Botany, or related field
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
