Emergency Medicine Physician - FullTime

Salary is at $400K. This is negotiable.

The schedule is Monday - Friday, hours will vary between 8:30am - 6:30pm.

Candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible and licensed in both New York and New Jersey or willing to obtain.

Busy musculoskeletal outpatient facility dedicated to providing exceptional multifaceted musculoskeletal treatment for a wide range of patient conditions. Our ideal candidate will be required to do some traveling between our multiple locations throughout the NYC metro area (Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Staten Island) and northern New Jersey to treat patients.

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine check-ups to patients to assess their health condition and discover possible issues
- Conduct examinations to ill patients and evaluate symptoms to determine their condition
- Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient s medical history
- Prescribe and interpret lab tests to obtain more information for underlying infections or abnormalities
- Prescribe medications or drugs and provide comprehensive instructions for administration
- Collaborate with other physicians, physician assistants and nurses to form a high performing medical team
- Examine and provide treatments to injuries and refer patients to other physicians when needed (physiatrists, orthopedists, etc.)

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the pre-op assessment of the patient, administration of anesthesia and the initial post op
recovery of the patient; may also provide pain management care and treatment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform a pre-op assessment of the patient to evaluate the risk to anesthesia and the procedure to
be performed.
2. Discusses the choice of anesthesia with the patient and explains the administration procedure.
