Provides nursing care that is efficient, appropriate, and therapeutic for patients while ensuring that established security requirements are maintained (as defined by the Bexar County Adult Detention Center and Central Magistrate’s Office). Continuously monitors the condition and status of patients and delivers care that meets or exceeds established standards. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Experience in correctional health care, psychiatric nursing, or nursing in an emergency environment is preferred. Prior knowledge or experience within the University Health nursing services and/or certification as a Certified Correctional Health Care Provider (CCHP) is also preferred.
LICENSURE
Must possess a current license to practice Vocational Nursing in the State of Texas. Must also maintain current CPR certification.

LICENSURE

Provides professional level skills required in the clinical practice of mental health counseling and crisis intervention, affording direct services to individuals housed in the adult detention center. Screens and identifies inmates who are mentally ill, have substance use issues, and/or may be at risk for suicide and make the appropriate referral for further assessment. Works as a therapeutic agent as a member of a multidisciplinary team to provide evaluation, treatment planning and service coordination for those in adult detention. Counsels and assists patients with personal and environmental difficulties which predispose illness or hinder the patient from receiving maximum benefits from medical care. Actively supports the policies and procedures of the University Health System.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Master's degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education is required. One year post master's degree experience in a health care setting is preferred.
LICENSURE
Current state licensure from the Texas State Board of Social Workers Examiners is required. Current CPR certification as a BLS HealthCare Provider is also required. Certification as a Correctional Health Care Professional is preferred when eligible.

- Pipeline Management: Track all leads, follow-ups, and conversions meticulously using our gym management software (experience with PushPress is a plus).

What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in B2C phone sales, specifically closing deals on the first or second call.
