Medical Technologist I Qualifications:
Education: Associate degree
Certifications: MLT certification OR Bachelors degree, in a major that meets a certification agency's requirements OR Completion of a 50 week U.S. military medical laboratory training course

Overview:
Maintains professional accountability and technical support for provision of patient care for the endoscopy patients experience. As directed, may be preparing the endoscopy field, obtain needed equipment uphold patient safety standards and assist the physician and registered nurse. Minimum Qualifications (Level II): 0-1+ years of experience/Outpatient Centers and Rural Locations/May or may not be a 24-hour opportunity location

Experience: The Endoscopy Technologist II is able to successfully and independently participate in low to moderate acuity cases AND High-level disinfection.
