Our team is growing! Trustpoint.One has partnered with a nationally recognized employer, with offices in St. Louis, in their search for licensed attorneys, with prior litigation experience, to join an existing and growing team. This is a great opportunity to join a long-term, open-ended project that will involve:

• In-depth claims review, including reviewing all records and information necessary to assess the claim.
• Preparing a Claim Summaries and Medical Chronologies that includes a general calculation of damages to review with managing counsel.
• Contacting claimant's counsel to initiate settlement negotiations after receiving authorization of the appropriate settlement range for that claim from managing counsel.
• Requesting a settlement check and drafting necessary settlement agreement, if a settlement is reached, or requesting a denial letter, if the claim cannot be settled.
• Performing necessary follow-up and detailed status record keeping while working through these claims.

Many of the Attorneys currently working on this project for our client have been on this team for years! If you are seeking stability and a unique opportunity to apply your litigation skills, this could be the ideal professional fit for you.

Requirements include:

• Must be a Member, in good standing, of at least one US State Bar
• Prior experience working on litigation cases, including clerkships and paralegal experience, and/or claims review experience is required
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented
• Successful candidates must complete the process to secure a government security clearance before starting this project
• Pay rate: $30/hour; 40 hours per week (which you can work in a 4 day week if desired)
• Must reside in the St. Louis area and be able to work in the office in St. Louis on a hybrid basis
• All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.

Our client is seeking a Maritime / Admiralty Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join their team in St. Louis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maritime law, including commercial shipping, vessel operations, cargo claims, and related litigation. This attorney will provide comprehensive legal counsel to clients, handle complex cases, and work closely with the team to achieve practical, effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel on maritime, admiralty, and shipping law matters.
• Handle complex litigation involving vessel claims, cargo disputes, personal injury (Jones Act / maritime injuries), and contract disputes.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and maritime-related documents.
• Represent clients in state and federal courts, administrative proceedings, and arbitration as needed.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on maritime and admiralty issues.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance, risk management, and insurance matters related to maritime operations.

Qualifications:

  The Neuro Medicine floor offers a unique opportunity for clinical nurses, and especially graduate nurses, to improve and gain critical thinking skills, assessment skills, problem solving skills and time management skills.  The unit provides care to a diverse population with a specialty in neuro-medicine and epilepsy monitoring unit.  In the EMU we work with physicians to induce and monitor patients with seizures.  We also provide care to our neuro surgical patients offering an experience with both the medical and surgical population.  Often our patients have multi-system clinical diagnosis’ providing the clinical nurse and graduate nurse with a solid foundation as they continue or as they start their nursing career.  On 11400 you'll get to work with a young energetic team passionate about patient care.
