About the Role

The Customer Support Analyst will provide excellent customer service to Ariat retailers, sales representatives, internal and external customers. You will support and communicate with sales representatives, retailers and internal customers by completing various tasks such as supporting retail accounts, order entry and order book management, maintenance, tracking and having a depth knowledge of product and order statuses. Candidates will be responsible for running daily reports and analyzing the data to ensure order book is up-to-date and product is strategically shipped to retailers. • Providing courteous and professional service to internal and external customers
• Serving as the primary contact for dealers and sales reps in assigned territory(s), including building relationships and managing any issues that may arise
• Ensuring orders are entered accurately and confirmed in a timely manner for assigned accounts
• Responding promptly to a high volume of calls, voicemails and emails daily
• Verifying daily price and auditing of EDI and open orders
• Quickly resolving order discrepancies
• Acting as a liaison between customers, field sales and other departments as required to meet account goals and directives
• Collaborating with Allocation Specialist and Distribution team to ensure orders are filled and shipped in a timely manner
• Resolving a diverse range of issues including general questions and problems involving pricing, product usage and care, product availability, inventory, transportation, order book management and product delivery
• Providing 800# and B2B support including inbound calls/emails regarding orders, order changes, return authorizations and warranty coverage
• Providing support in a specific area of focus, i.e. Key accounts, EDI, new hire training, front desk coverage or any other operational support function when needed
• Assisting with other responsibilities based on business needs

About You

• Intermediate to Advanced level computer skills with MS Office Word & Excel (pivots; vlookup; formulas)
• Strong analytical skills required to determine possible issues, interpret data and identify solutions
• Experience with order processing and management, product allocation in an EDI system
• Knowledge of SAP or similar order entry systems
• Understanding and appreciation of order to cash cycle
• Experience with EDI customers preferred
• Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks and work independently of supervision
• Detail orientated with outstanding follow-through
• Able to solve customer problems, make decisions and take calculated risks in order to meet partner expectations in a manner consistent with company goals and policies. Raise issues to supervisor that may affect cross functional departments
• 2-3 years customer service in a high-volume environment and preferably in a footwear, apparel, outdoor equipment or manufacturing environment
• Exceptional written, oral and face-to-face communication skills
• Enthusiastic, friendly and outgoing with the ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external customers

This role will report to the Sr Preconstruction Manager for projects related to GNB’s Mission Critical Manufacturing (MCM) division. The successful candidate must be able to work independently in fast paced, dynamic environments and be able to multi-task to closely track and manage activities for multiple high-revenue, mission critical projects simultaneously. This role requires the coordination and continued relationship development with GNB’s blue chip customer base, vendors, suppliers, GNB personnel, and GNB’s project execution teams to execute on the project deliveries.

This role will take on exciting projects with high organizational visibility that will have an impact on GNB’s Mission Critical Manufacturing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring that the client expectations are managed proactively, diplomatically, and constructively and that clients are kept informed and aware of the project status frequently and throughout the project lifecycle
• Work with the project team and support personnel to ensure the successful completion of the project on time, at cost, scope, safety, and quality
• Maintain a “dog eared” understanding of the customer contract
• Develop detailed project schedules, using the critical path method, including design/detailing, procurement, fabrication, freight, and invoicing
• Strict adherence to project deadlines though relationship management with both internal and external project stakeholders
• Issuance of change orders when specific criteria/thresholds are met
• Allocate resources to complete projects on time and within budget, including the organization and coordination of both internal and external resources
• Project risk identification and analysis, as well as pain point identification, that may impact project completion
• Ensure invoicing is complete and submitted on time per the established contract payment terms
• Directly monitor and manage the procurement process to ensure successful procurement and delivery to the budget, schedule, quality, and environmental requirements
• Proactively identify, address, and resolve issues/problems before they occur
• Ensure safety standards are maintained in all aspects of projects
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• In depth understanding of the project life cycle, from sales to project close out
• Experience with procurement processes from supplier selection and vetting, to PO/subcontract negotiation, issuance, and acceptance
• Experience in the review, understanding, and explanation of architectural/structural drawings and technical specifications (e.g. CSI Divisions 5 and 13)
• Ability to organize and maintain complex data, drawings, legal contracts, requests for information (RFIs) and answers, and miscellaneous information through a project’s completion
• Experience with change orders, particularly when such is needed and how to negotiate such with customers
• Ability to determine and track Cost to Completes (CTCs) and forecast future costs
• Familiarity with value engineering and how to identify opportunities for such
• Strong focus on deadlines and detailed strategizing to ensure the meeting of such
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with the creation of schedules of values and percentage of completion based invoicing methods
• In depth experience with MS Project, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite is essential
• Highly organized with the ability to coordinate multiple jobs with ease
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and an intrinsic desire to exceed everyday expectations
• Sound decision-making and creative problem-solving skills
• The ability to travel should the need arise both in Canada and the USA
• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check and as needed to enter a project site.
• Clean driving record.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience with NetSuite ERP system
• Experience with contract negotiation and the interpretation/understanding of general construction contract language/legalese
• Experience in bottoms up estimating and quantity take off
• Experience with Lean management and implementation
• Experience with the drafting of POs and various contract documents like subcontracts
• Experience with Tension Fabric Structures
• Experience with 3D modeling or FEA design or engineering software like AutoCAD or Solid Works
• Experience with financial modelling and analysis
• Familiarity with organizational change initiatives

• Bachelors Degree in construction project management or a construction-related field such as civil engineering or architecture.
• Project Management: 5 years experience with complex projects

Key Responsibilities (Manufacturing Focus):

• Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs for a steel fabrication and manufacturing environment
• Conduct routine shop floor safety inspections, hazard assessments, and compliance audits
• Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and employee safety training within the manufacturing facility
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and injuries; complete reports and implement corrective actions
• Ensure proper PPE compliance including welding safety gear, eye protection, and respiratory protection where applicable
• Maintain safety records including training logs, inspection reports, and incident documentation
• Partner with shop supervisors, production managers, and weld leads to ensure safe work practices
• Monitor safety practices around welding operations, material handling, cranes, forklifts, and fabrication equipment
• Stay current on OSHA manufacturing safety standards and industry best practices
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inspections and safety-related inquiries
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of safety management experience within manufacturing and/or construction
• Experience in a steel fabrication shop, welding environment, or heavy manufacturing facility is highly preferred
• Relevant certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CHST, OSHA 30, and/or OSHA 510
• Proven ability to influence, coach, and engage employees at all levels
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screens and a background check

Working Conditions:

• This position requires working in the manufacturing facility
• Lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally (safety equipment or materials).
• Exposure to machinery, loud noise, dust, weather conditions, and industrial materials
• Must be able to wear required PPE and stand or walk for extended periods
