Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct psychiatric care to assigned inpatient patients
- Conduct psychiatric, physical, and neurological evaluations
- Participate in civil commitment proceedings for patients being released from custody
- Provide clinical supervision to psychiatric mid-level providers as assigned
- Participate in due process hearings related to voluntary admission and psychoactive medication administration
- Participate in psychiatry quality improvement programs
- Provide emergency psychiatric call coverage as required
- Work collaboratively with clinical teams and utilization review personnel
- Maintain compliance with all departmental policies and reporting requirements
