The Team

The MassMutual Enterprise Architecture team in the Enterprise Technology and Experience organization is seeking an outstanding Enterprise Architect (Application) to join our team.  Enterprise Architecture is composed of Business, Application, Infrastructure, Technology & Design and Security architecture domains. Joining this team will give the Application EA a unique perspective and opportunity to partner with best-in-class architects on enterprise wide technology initiatives.

The Impact:

This role will work with IT and Business stakeholders of business delivery teams, engineers, application operations, product managers, and enterprise stakeholders to help deliver innovative, data-driven systems aimed at transforming the insurance industry. As part of the application architecture team, incumbents may be responsible for any of the following:

• Partner with senior leaders to develop and maintain the Technology strategies & roadmap focused on Wealth Management
• Manage a domain(s) of the MassMutual Application Portfolio Management data for quality
• Technical evaluations and benchmarking of core application platforms, frameworks and technologies
• Specification and publication of standards around application design and software engineering best practices
• Thought leadership and active participation in conferences and research with strategic partners and academic institutions
• Partner with business executives and senior architects to identify data and process issues, then provide solution options and recommends options
• Provide recommendations on system options, risks, cost/benefit analysis, and impact on cross-domain systems, business strategy, goals and processes
• Engage in SA problem solving, snapshots and full architecture documents
• Actively publish deliverables, and utilizes multi-media to educate and engage with federated solution architecture community members
• Collaborate with extended enterprise architecture, business, and IT support teams to communicate architecture strategies, standards, and direction
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies

The Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related Technical degree
• 8+ years of related IT Solutions Architecture or Technical Lead experience

The Ideal Qualifications

• 10+ years of related IT Architecture or IT consulting experience
• Preferred job experience includes some knowledge of Insurance and Wealth Management 
• Experience with technology supporting: Financial Planning, Order Management, Lending, Wealth Investment Products, etc.
• Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and reasoning skills 
• A team-focused mentality with proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders 
• Experience in Capability mapping and business architecture concepts
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on the ability to effectively influence others, collaborate and partner. 
• Understanding of the impact of IT on business results 
• Demonstrated experience using Architecture Methodology (TOGAF, Archimate) 
• Strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one 
• Experience in Public Cloud platforms (preferably AWS), solution design and development using Cloud-native services, and understanding of cost rationalization. 
• AWS/Azure Cloud Certification 
• Strong experience in Architecture and Design patterns 
• Developed acumen in Domain Driven Design 
• Strong experience with event streaming design and implementation using Kafka, along with web service protocols and patterns like SOAP, REST, JSON, XML/XSDs. 
• Experience with REST API for data interchange and API-driven systems integration decoupling digital and backend systems. 
• Track record of designing architectural reference material

The Inventory Controller will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing our inventory systems and processes to ensure optimal stock levels, accuracy, and efficiency. This position requires a keen analytical mind and a strong understanding principle. They will collaborate closely with various departments, including Procurement, Sales, and Operations, to accurately forecast inventory needs, manage stock levels, and minimize losses. They will be responsible for conducting regular inventory audits, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing best practices to streamline our inventory operations. As well as ensuring products are moving onto the sales floor, price tags are accurate, & all SKU’s (UPC) are valid.

Pay Starting at $17.00/Hour

• Managing and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Conducting regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
• Forecasting inventory needs based on sales trends and seasonal demands
• Collaborating with Procurement to ensure timely replenishment of stock
• Implementing best practices for inventory management to minimize loss and wastage
• Generating and analyzing inventory reports for performance metrics
• Training and assisting employees in inventory management processes and procedures, while maintaining records of system users
• Preparing and present inventory reports to management, highlighting key insights and performance metrics
• Performing data entry for purchase orders, internal transfers and inventory adjustments
• Assisting in executing annual physical inventories and reconciliation
• Handling physical movement of products between locations within the park
• Managing ticketing of all items and price changes

• Prior experience in inventory management within the retail industry
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel

Job Summary:
 

• Performs as a clinically competent practitioner of respiratory care. Provides respiratory care to patients with minimal guidance. 

• Performs the therapy, management, rehabilitation, diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities which affect the cardiopulmonary system and associated aspects of other system functions. 

• Administers respiratory therapy to include administering oxygen and other medical gases, aerosolized medications, positive pressure breathing devices, etc.  Performs pulmonary diagnostic procedures and assessments.  Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient’s individual age specific needs and to provide individualized age specific treatments and care.

• Demonstrates efficiency across clinical/critical care settings to provide quality service to patient care units through communication, cooperation and collaboration with heath care team.

• Participates in additional training and/or certification courses to develop expertise and skills to become certified to work in specialized clinical areas.

• Perform other related duties as required. 
   

Job Responsibilities:

 

• Administers pharmacologic, diagnostic and therapeutic agents related to respiratory care procedures necessary to implement a treatment, disease, prevention, pulmonary rehabilitation, or a diagnostic regimen prescribed by a physician.

• Sets up equipment and medications.  

• Observes and monitors signs and symptoms, general behavior, general physical response to respiratory care treatment and diagnostic testing, to determine whether abnormal characteristics are exhibited. 

• In collaboration with healthcare team, develops and implements an appropriate care plan based on patient assessment by utilizing respiratory protocols to optimize patient outcomes.

• Instruct patient in the use and maintenance of various types of respiratory care equipment for home use and self-administration. 

   

• Explain procedures to patients and addresses their concerns in a professional and therapeutic manner.

• Performs duties related to the functioning of the POC (point of care) testing, quality metrics, and related specimen retrieval.

• Performs baseline pulmonary function screening and weaning parameters.

• Perform pulmonary diagnostic testing including pulmonary screens, SpO2, peak flows and oximetry.

• Accurately inputs data into Electronic Health Record to track procedure and supply charges and other relevant information.

• Accurately documents charting and charging.

• Utilizing safety, environmental, and infection control standards, appropriately maintains area supplies and reports equipment malfunctions. 

• Performs and documents quality assurance testing on equipment according to established protocols to maintain high performance of the system.

• Transports patients as necessary. 

• Maintains clinical proficiency and annual health stream.

• Participates in additional training and/or certification courses to develop expertise and skills to become certified to work in specialized clinical areas. 

• Perform other related duties as required

• Associates Degree from an AMA approved Respiratory program. Bachelor's Degree Preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree from an AMA approved Respiratory program preferred

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) granted by The National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)

• Valid State of Connecticut Respiratory Care Practitioner license. 

• BLS /ACLS where applicable

•  PALS/NRP certification preferred

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
