Responsibilities

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking one Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to support our Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Practice. NP/PAs are valued members within our team and teamwork is essential to meeting the needs of the patients for whom we provide care. Provision of care in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility includes, but is not limited to, comprehensive assessment and physical examination, ordering, conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests and/or procedures, diagnosing and directly managing clinical infertility, promoting wellness, prescription of pharmacological agents and treatments, and as well as non-pharmacological therapies, and appropriate follow-up. Teaching and counseling individuals, families, and groups are a significant part of NP/PA activities. NP/PAs are also expected to serve as mentors, and to participate in clinical improvement and research projects as appropriate to the clinical setting. Responsibilities

Community Internal Medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work as part of a multidisciplinary primary care team. The NP or PA will provide acute, chronic, medically complex, and preventive health care services to established adult patients in the outpatient clinic setting. The provision of care includes but is not limited to comprehensive evaluation, ordering, and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescription of pharmacologic agents and treatments, non-pharmacologic therapies, and counseling patients. Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and be a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program.  

Must be board certified in nuclear medicine technology and maintain current licensure.

Responsibilities

The licensed practical nurse (LPN) provides nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of the registered nurse (RN) or other assigned supervisor and accepts delegation from the RN/assigned supervisor in meeting the needs of the patient/family. Additional Qualifications: 
Cross Training to Clinical Dermatology is expected with frequent and prolonged standing required during surgical procedures. One year LPN experience within the last five years preferred. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Experience working in a team environment. Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
