The Work

• Collaborate with claims professionals, employers, and TPA partners to drive timely, optimal outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 2–10 years in workers’ comp defense preferred (will consider sharp new admits or re-tooling candidates—including DBA backgrounds).
• Tools & Tempo: Comfort with electronic/AI-assisted case management; organized, proactive, and calm under a busy calendar.
• Market Insight: Bay Area, Fresno/Central Valley, or Westside/Santa Monica familiarity a plus.

Legal Secretary/Paralegal – Litigation

Role Overview

Our busy Riverside litigation law firm is looking for a dedicated Legal Secretary/Paralegal to join our team. If you have a strong background in civil litigation, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with case management across multiple litigation cases from start to finish.
• Draft pleadings, including summons, complaints, and other legal documents for California civil litigation and Federal cases.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests in both State (California) and Federal courts.
• Maintain a legal calendar, ensuring deadlines for hearings, motions, depositions, and trials are met.
• Provide administrative support and document preparation, ensuring compliance with civil procedure.
• Effectively manage and prioritize multiple litigation tasks while maintaining high standards of accuracy and organization.
• Communicate directly with clients and attorneys regarding case updates and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of legal administrative experience in a litigation environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pipeline Management: Track all leads, follow-ups, and conversions meticulously using our gym management software (experience with PushPress is a plus).
• The Handoff: Create detailed member profiles and communicate effectively with the coaching team so every new member is greeted by name and set up for success on day one.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in B2C phone sales, specifically closing deals on the first or second call.
• A confident, assumptive closer who is comfortable asking for the credit card over the phone.
• Excellent active listening skills and the ability to navigate objections with empathy and authority.
• A strong understanding of the fitness space (familiarity with CrossFit and HYROX is highly preferred).
• Self-motivated and highly disciplined to thrive in a remote work environment.

Compensation & Benefits: We believe in rewarding performance. This role offers a solid base salary with a highly lucrative, uncapped commission structure.
