This role is a full time position and will last at least 2 months with the opportunity to be extended. This role will start ASAP! Description: We need a self-starter. We need someone that is disciplined and can execute a busy schedule with ease, and thrives on the pace of a busy law office. We also need someone that is independent and can run with a project until it is completed, problem solved. Solutions oriented candidates are welcome. You will work, each weekday, with the following people: current clients, past clients, potential clients, referral sources, attorneys, court staff, paralegals. You must love the telephone and email as many of the tasks for this position center around communicating (well) to people over the phone and by email. Work Days: 8:30 to 5:00 (business hours) Monday-Friday
Pay: $25.00 to 35.00+/hour, with benefits (healthcare, retirement, continuing education), year-end bonuses beginning at $4,500.00 and up. (higher hourly rates available for highly qualified candidates, certainly rapid pay increases and bonuses for the selected candidate.)

Preferred Qualifications:
Highly organized. Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required. About the Job: Please note below a detailed description of tasks:
Interaction with new and current clients, weekly huddles with our entire family law team, so you are trained when you start and support continues each week.
Daily work will involve live scheduling, extensive email follow up & phone reminders, phone response to inquiries, responding to billing questions, communication with the public, and generally keeping clients happy and informed about the progress of their case by interacting with clients in a consistently helpful, informative, and positive manner. Preparing detailed pleadings and discovery (we'll train you). Meeting with attorney and clients to prepare family law and litigation cases. Attending those hearings as you desire for training purposes.
Administrative tasks:
Specifically, work will involve coordinating meetings for attorney and other paralegals, preparing trial notebooks, sending out periodic mailings, organizing pleadings and dictations, organizing client files, calling court clerks, following up with referrals, assisting with case preparation, and other duties as assigned.

- Can only operate a vehicle that seats eight people or less, including driver.
