The Role We Want You For
As a Project Engineer with SEI, you will be based on a construction project site. In this role you will use your education and knowledge to support the Project Manager by providing technical support, documenting, and reporting project activities and meetings. The work to be performed may consist of various scopes including structural, mechanical, electrical, and other trades related to building and process systems on highly complex projects nationwide., construction, start up, and testing on highly complex projects nationwide. These responsibilities will cover the full life cycle of the project including planning, construction, start up, testing, commissioning, and turnover. The Specifics of the Role
- Build client and subcontractor relationships.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Execution
- Lead the due diligence and master/campus planning phases for assigned data center project(s).
- Provide oversight of engineering firms & general contractors throughout all project phases, including master planning, detail design, mobilization, construction execution, punch list, and turnover.
- Deliver constructability input on electrical and mechanical designs to ensure cost-effective, buildable solutions.
- Use broad data center project experience and detailed knowledge of critical infrastructure systems including switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, fire safety systems, and integrated controls/security infrastructure to guide clients toward sound strategies, help them understand design tradeoffs, and support decisions that drive reliability, efficiency, and overall program success.
- Monitor construction progress and prepare regular executive level updates on key metrics, schedule forecasts, constraints/issues, risks, etc. for internal and client stakeholders.
- Drive utility engagement, infrastructure upgrades, and communication with public utility services.
Client and Cross Functional Relationships
- Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned project(s) building trust through consistent performance and transparency.

- Ensures the development and execution of project automation plan, environmental compliance plan, safety plan, site survey plan, non-manual staffing plan, subcontracting plan, labor strategy, construction execution plan, and job-site work rules.
- Responsible for implementation of Clayco’s safety program, security, housekeeping, and fire protection on the construction site and ensures strict adherence Federal and State safety codes.
- Ensures the field organization is composed of qualified and knowledgeable personnel and ensures effective personnel utilization.

Property Evaluations:
- Perform and schedule all evictions and enforce adherence to all lease rules and regulations by all residents.
- Walk all vacant units as well as the property on a regular basis ensuring that it is well maintained. During these inspections all liability and/or deficiencies should be reported to to the Service Manager and Supervisor.
- Responsible for office operations, quality curb appeal, office and model cleanliness.
- Conduct market surveys as required. Create and implement marketing plans for ongoing success and high occupancy of the property.
Payroll:
- Has a working knowledge and a familiarity with Paylocity Payroll System. Seeks help and additional training if necessary.
- Seeks supervisor or ownership’s approval before approving employee overtime.
- Approval of timesheets and overtime by the 10am Monday morning deadline.
- Ensures employees have completed their time card approvals.
- Limits and monitors employee missed punches and disciplines chronic offenders.
- Does not manipulate over time records, monitors overtime proactively but does not remove legitimate employee overtime worked. Does not allow employees to work off the clock.
- Maintains accurate payroll records by promptly returning Associate Status Forms to Payroll.
Reporting:
- Must maintain all records in a complete and organized manner as described throughout the MLPG P&P Operations Manual and in full compliance with outside regulatory boards which may be applicable (EEOC, OSHA, EPA, HUD, etc.)
- Consistently review all leasing performance and paperwork.
Safety:
- Responsible for responding to all emergency situations, preparing all necessary reporting and notifying the Supervisor, Regional Director, VP and COO.
Compliance:
- Assist in managing the client/owner relationship by meeting with owners, conducting property tours, providing updates and information about the property performance, and responding to owner requests as needed.
- Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, OSHA, EPA and all other Federal, State and Local laws pertaining to Multi-Family Housing.\
- Fully implement and enforce all policies and procedures as outlined in the MLPG Policy and Procedures Manuals. Maintain and keep Policies and Procedures in up to date manner, inform and train staff on any revisions in a timely manner.
- Review and approve all leasing application files; enforce property qualifying criteria in a fair and consistent manner for all leasing applicants.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education
High School degree required, college preferred.
Experience
One year prior experience in property management or in a related industry.
Other Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills providing for effective communication with residents, employees, peers, vendors, owners, etc. and to assist in efficient operations. Basic understanding of Landlord/Tenant laws and application, familiarity with GAA Lease and Addendums, Fair Housing/ADA regulations and application, OSHA & EPA requirements for property management industry.

Position Summary
The Assistant Superintendent helps lead all on-site construction activity from site mobilization through owner turnover. This role manages field operations — ensuring safety, schedule, cost, and quality performance targets are met. It requires daily coordination with project management, development, subcontractors, and consultants. Because of its field leadership and safety responsibilities, this position is designated safety-sensitive.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of field supervision experience on multifamily or commercial projects.
- Proven ability to lead subcontractors and enforce safety and quality standards.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities
Safety & Site Setup
- Implement a site-specific Safety Plan before mobilization.
- Set up the field office (double-wide trailer, TV, printed site plan, signage, permits, toilets, fencing, roll-offs).
- Collect Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and site-specific safety plans from all subcontractors.
- Call in Safety Consultant visits (minimum 1/month, target 2/month); document and close out findings.
- Maintain OSHA postings, first-aid kits, and emergency route maps in the site office.
- Report injuries immediately and manage OSHA visits per procedure.
Schedule & Coordination
- Develop and maintain the master schedule with the Project Manager.
- Update and distribute 2- and 4-week look-aheads; follow up with subcontractors on progress.
- Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and issue meeting minutes.
- Track daily manpower, photos, and progress through Procore.
- Coordinate long-lead material delivery to maintain schedule.
Consultant & Inspection Management
- Schedule and track all required consultant visits (Waterproofing, ADA, Structural Engineer, 3rd-party testing, Builder’s Risk).
- Review consultant reports, document completion with photos, and obtain final sign-off letters before closeout.
- Ensure compliance with Builder’s Risk inspection requirements (fire safety, fencing, signage, hot-work permits).
Quality & Cost Control
- Review drawings for conflicts before buyout; issue RFIs as needed.
- Conduct preconstruction meetings for each trade.
- Perform daily site walks to confirm quality and adherence to plans.
- Verify field work aligns with budget targets and notify PM/VP of any cost impacts.

Compliance & Documentation

The Role We Want You For
The Site Safety Supervisor will provide support to the Project Staff and the Ventana safety team in an effort to execute corporate safety and health standards and procedures in compliance with Federal, State, and Local requirements. In addition to your project responsibilities, you shall participate in and complete all assignments designated to you. This will include, but is not limited to, assisting in development of a zero injury safety culture on each project, conducting at least weekly documented jobsite safety inspections, effectively communicate orientations for all new project workers, assist with and review subcontractor daily pre-task safety analysis, actively promote and participate in daily stretch and flex program, identify project trends and execute proactive safety initiatives to eliminate incidents, support corporate goals and initiatives, emphasize and support proactive safety such as near miss/hazard reporting, coach and recognize workers on safe work methods, report all incidents in an effective and timely manner following established protocols and be a champion in motivating workers to perform their jobs safely! Your responsibilities will be all encompassing for each project you will be dedicated to.
The Specifics of the Role
- Assist in development of the project safety program.
- Establish and conduct jobsite orientation for new project employees. Administer and record their participation in the orientation program and issue identification to those employees completing the orientation program.
- Attend all initial meetings with the project staff and subcontractor representatives to clearly define their role within the confines of the project safety program.
- Conduct and document pre-planning safety meetings with each subcontractor representatives to establish safety procedures prior to subcontractor’s activity on site.
