We house one of few facilities in the region equipped to help high acuity mothers AND babies on-site. Our Center for Reproductive Medicine has success rates among the world's highest. We're home to New York's first Center for Endometriosis Treatment and Research, and many more progressive initiatives.

Preferred Criteria

• Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) (or willingness to obtain) from NCC

Required Criteria

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)

• Current New York State RN license

• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification from National Certification Corporation (NCC) (required within a year of hire)

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) from American Academy Pediatrics

• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will manage patient care delivery within Perioperative Services, serving as a clinical resource and administrator in the absence of unit leaders or when care-related issues arise. You will promotes a culture of safety and quality by ensuring continuity and consistency in the implementation of established standards, protocols, policies and procedures. In collaboration with the Patient Care Director, the Clinical Nurse Manager will participate in the establishment of the units short and long term goals and ensures its alignment with the hospital’s overall strategic goals. Additional responsibilities include monitoring staff for compliance with regulatory, hospital and divisional requirements.

This is a full time days, 7AM-5PM located at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. 

Preferred Criteria

• Master's Degree in related area

• Pre, post Operating Room experience

Required Criteria

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

• Current New York State Registered Nurse license

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications from the American Heart Association

Staff Nurse - Labor and Delivery -Full Time- Nights
