About the Opportunity: Setting: Practice Practice Patient Population: Workers' Comp, No-Fault, Out of Network Cases, etc.

A leading insurance organization is seeking a Senior Staff Attorney with strong litigation expertise to manage complex insurance defense matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned attorney who can independently handle cases from inception through trial, particularly in premises liability and auto liability matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage high-exposure litigation cases involving premises and automobile liability
- Develop and execute defense strategies with minimal supervision
- Draft and review:
- Pleadings
- Motions & briefs
- Discovery responses
- Conduct:
- Depositions
- Legal research
- Motion arguments
- Represent clients in court proceedings across Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk Counties
- Communicate effectively with:

Required Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active New York Bar license (in good standing)
- Minimum 10+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
- Strong experience in:
- Premises liability
- Auto liability (commercial & personal)
- Ability to handle cases independently (A–Z)
- Excellent:
- Legal writing

- Organizational skills
- Familiarity with NY courts (Queens, Nassau, Suffolk preferred)
- Strong communication and tech proficiency (AI tools exposure is a plus)
