What will you do?
Under the direction of a Physician or Lead Physician, the Nurse Practitioner or Physican Assistant collaborates with physicians to provide comprehensive assessment, treatment and evaluation of patients in an outpatient clinic setting; healthcare services provided include care during acute and chronic phases of illness, education and counseling of individuals and referral to other healthcare providers and community resources when appropriate. Responsible for coordination of care for clinic patients.
Some of the Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Performs history and physical examinations on new and return patients; establishes presumptive diagnosis; establishes the general workup of the patient by ordering appropriate laboratory studies and testing.
- Works in collaboration with physician in formulating treatment plans for health problems and follow-up.

- At least 2 years experience in primary care preferred.

Scope of Position

POSITION SUMMARY
Performs delegated functions under physician supervision, such as differential diagnosis, use of prescriptive authority, and treatment according to practice guidelines, protocols, and/or standing orders in clinical and surgical settings. Minimum required qualifications include, but are not limited to: the ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language; the ability to perform basic math; the ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift; the ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs., and occasionally lift 50 lbs; the ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products, spices and powdered substances without negative allergic consequences; the ability to tolerate dust and chemical agents during routine housekeeping duties; the ability to work in varying temperatures; the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way; the ability to work cooperatively with others; and the ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies.
Essential job functions include selecting accurately identify products from various departments, be knowledgeable in picking top quality perishable items, be able to substitute comparable items when a customer's item is out of stock, accurately select and organize customer's items efficiently; consolidating properly bag customer's orders safely and efficiently, prepare workspace for selection process, merge the completed totes to ensure they are ready for customer collection or delivery, prioritize temperature-controlled totes in the correct location; exporting process all forms of payments, accurately collect proper payment and provide proper change, ability to make change with all denominations of American currency, understand operation of cash register and follow all cash handling procedures, prepare paperwork to complete a customer's transaction and file accurately.
