Responsibilities- Must have command of the English language with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with internal and external customers, perform simple mathematical calculations, handle receipts, read shipping labels and follow loading instructions.
- Will be responsible to load and unload freight according to DOT requirements on and off of trucks by hand or by use of hand truck or dolly.
- Sort and secure items in position on trucks according to DOT requirements or on dock to prevent damage.
- Lifting various types of materials will be required: cartons, bags, cylinders, boxes, crates, drums, pipe, bars, rugs, etc.
- Common material handling tools will be used: carts, dollies, pallet jacks, and tow motors.
- Standing, walking, pushing, pulling, twisting, carrying, bending, reaching, and lifting both above and below waist level will be required.
- Heavy lifting will be required.
- Work in a safe and professional manner so as to reduce personal risks and risk to fellow employees.
- Comply with federal, state, and company regulations.
- Process all paperwork daily associated with the execution of the job.
- Be available and willing to work; exceptions require management approval.
- Work in a positive, supportive, and cooperative way at all times.
- Perform other duties as directed or requested.
- Must pass a NON -Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must consent to a pre-employment drug screen. PITT OHIO must receive a negative result.
- Must have the ability to read and write the English language and also perform simple mathematical calculations

Manual Machine Operator

What do we want to know about you?
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
-High School Diploma or GED
-This position requires accuracy and responsibility as many duties must be performed without close supervision
-Training and/or experience using measuring equipment and reading drawings is needed.
-Minimum 1 year experience with conventional machine tools.
What will your typical day look like?
Capable of running small conventional machine tools (drill press, grinder, kick press, tumbler.) per instructions.
Capable of measuring parts utilizing micrometers, calipers, depth gages, height gage, etc.
What about the physical demands of the job?
Have the ability to routinely lift up to 40 pounds
Be able to stand for extended periods
Basic reaching, crouching, bending
You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
Qualifications

Title: International Import/Export Logistics Representative
Location: Pittsburgh
Duration: This is a 1-year fixed-term contract position. The position may be extended or converted based on business need and performance.
Education: BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or a related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in international logistics, import/export operations, or international trade compliance (internship experience does not meet this requirement for this role)
• Demonstrated working knowledge of import and export compliance execution, monitoring, and operational self-assessments
• Familiarity with international logistics environments and multi-region trade operations
• Experience with or exposure to drafting and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy; ability to identify data inconsistencies
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Analytical mindset with basic change management and training capabilities
• Sensitivity to compliance requirements and supply chain risk
• SAP experience preferred
• Auditing skills a plus
Personal Characteristics:
• Demonstrated ability to comprehend and apply compliance policies and procedures in day-to-day operations
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage competing tasks with minimal guidance
