POSITION SUMMARY:


Under general supervision, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide a combination of nursing services, instruction, and assessments throughout the hospital; to participate in a variety of nursing assessments, direct patient care, and health education services; and to do related work as required. This Level 1 Trauma Children's Hospital provides comprehensive cardiac services with state-of-the-art facilities including catheterization labs and dedicated Cardiac OR suites. The facility specializes in advanced cardiac procedures and maintains high standards for pediatric and complex cardiac care.

About the Clinician's Workday

The CRNA will work 8-hour or 10-hour day shifts on the Cardiac team under medical direction in a 1:2 supervision model. The position involves working in both the catheterization lab and Cardiac OR, managing cases including general cardiac procedures, interventional procedures, bypass surgeries, profusion, and transplant cases. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required, with call schedule being negotiable based on facility needs.
