Facility is seeking BC/BE General Cardiologist to join a well-established, growing practice
- This opportunity allows for consultative care of common and complex cardiovascular symptoms and disease in both a community hospital and outpatient practice setting.
- Eligible candidate will be responsible for some call coverage and will be included in equal weekday and holiday call rotation with other physicians of the practice
- Will order, perform and interpret appropriate tests, to include transthoracic echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiogram, exercise treadmill testing and EKGs.
- Discuss diagnoses with patients, explain treatment options, and provide advice on medications, lifestyle and dietary changes, and other preventative measures.
- Work with and supervise cardiology PA-C?s, and collaborate with admitting medicine hospitalists, ED staff and intensivists.
- Remain up-to-date on current best practices, developments, trends, research, and technology.
- Maintain timely completion of patient encounter documentation and billing.
