Our windows and doors are finished products installed in the early stages of the residential construction cycle. This requires that we often provide some final touch-ups and adjustments to our product in every home near the time the homeowner occupies the new home. The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Dell Medical School, in conjunction with Ascension Seton and the Seton Family of Doctors seek a board‑certified or board‑eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our clinical faculty and serve on our inpatient team at Dell Children’s Medical Center.

What You'll Do:

Provide clinical expertise to evaluate and treat a broad spectrum of mental health challenges for children and adolescents (ages 6–17) within a trauma‑informed, family-centered, multidisciplinary model.
The physician will collaborate closely with pediatric psychologists, psychiatrically trained nurses, behavioral health technicians, social workers, expressive therapists and other allied professionals; contribute to on‑call coverage for the Mental Health Unit; and actively engaged in education across disciplines – including medical students, residents, fellows, graduate students, and trainees.
Opportunities exist for collaboration in innovative clinical programming, quality improvement and team-based research.
This position is designed as 0.5 FTE inpatient psychiatry, combined with 0.5 FTE tailored to the candidate’s interests and program's needs (e.g., outpatient services, CL psychiatry or community mental health).
Qualifications Required:
