Ensure GAAP compliance and oversee revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, stock-based compensation, and 409A valuations.
Manage all federal and multi-state tax filings and maintain relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
Drive finance systems implementation (NetSuite/ERP) and continuous process improvement, including internal controls and operational workflows.
Develop financial models, KPI dashboards, and board-level reporting to inform strategic decision-making.
Lead financial due diligence, fundraising support (Series B/C+), and IPO readiness including audit preparation and SOX-aligned controls.
Act as a player-coach, balancing hands-on execution with team leadership and process design.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
MBA or CPA preferred.
8+ years of experience in a senior finance role Must have high-growth SaaS or subscription-based technology companies Big 4/public accounting audit background Proven experience with fundraising, IPO readiness, and Series B and C rounds.
Solid understanding of US GAAP, ASC 606, and other relevant accounting standards.
