Three years of supervisory experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment services.

Licensed as an LMHC, LMSW, LMFT, LMHC-D, or LCSW.

Job Summary: The integrated senior clinician is a clinician with demonstrated leadership skills and clinical excellence with experience in substance abuse and mental health treatment.

The integrated senior clinician provides regular direct clinical care, while also providing supervision and clinical support within an integrated care model.

The integrated senior clinician demonstrates an advanced level of clinical knowledge, communication and interdisciplinary collaboration, professionalism, and systems-based practice.

This role works with administrative, clinical, and nonclinical staff within the outpatient clinic, while abiding by state regulations, and assuring safe, effective, quality care in alignment with FLACRA’s mission, vision, and brand pledge.

Duties Collaborates with teams to align processes and philosophy with organizational values and strategic plan and supports organizational priorities on a weekly, monthly, and long-term basis.

Facilitates motivational team building and group supervision, including team support for any corrective actions and process improvements.

Promotes growth clinic staff in areas of leadership, clinical excellence, patient-centered care, education, and organizational involvement to meet the identified organizational goals and needs of the employee.

Monitors, support, and mentors clinicians in their practice management to meet expectations for excellent client care.

Responsible for needs assessment and monitoring of clinic staff engagement in their professional practice and client care.

This includes leading regular meetings and trainings with staff, and participating in activities related to improving engagement, professional work-life balance, and work satisfaction.

Submits daily, weekly, monthly reports as required and uses information to collaboratively make data driven decisions that support the attainment of the clinic’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the agency’s strategic plan goals.

Attend leadership meetings and work closely with clinic director and outpatient leadership team to address day-to-day site issues and ensure solid onboarding of new employees.

Provides annual performance reviews in collaboration with the clinic director.

Supports clinic director and outpatient leadership team in hiring, disciplinary, and dismissal processes for direct care staff.

Provides integrated clinical services- including assessment, treatment planning, and intervention as relevant for the area of practice, which is inclusive of providing individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Acts as a consultant to staff, patients, and families as appropriate for care of the client.

Works as part of the primary treatment team and as part of the multi-disciplinary team by effectively collaborating with other systems of care including but not limited to schools, primary care, legal system, and specialty care providers.

Ensures that each client’s rights are protected and that they are provided with appropriate interventions based on ability to participate, cultural concerns, and diagnostic impression.

Maintain progress notes and other documentation required for the client medical record and utilization management within the timelines outlined by FLACRA.

Participates in quality initiatives and utilization review activities as requested.

Strives to understand and meet the fiscal and financial parameters of practicing in the health care environment.

Provide administrative and/or clinical supervision to clinic staff as appropriate and in collaboration with clinic director.

Provides educational presentations and participates in local conferences and professional organizations.

Participates in rotation for either mental health on-call or agency on-call.

Perform other functions as directed.
