Prepare and file legal documents, such as deeds, mortgages, leases, and easements.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases and lease amendments.
Coordinate and assist with commercial closings, including the preparation of closing checklists, the coordination of closing logistics, and the preparation and review of closing documents.
Prepare and organize post-closing binders and manage post-closing follow-up.
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on various commercial real estate issues.
Maintain organized, up-to-date files and databases for all transactions.
Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience in commercial real estate is required.
A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent is preferred.
Proficient in commercial leasing, title surveys, preparing closing documents, zoning reports, surveys, acquisition loans, leases, commercial closings, and post-closing.
Familiarity with real estate software and tools, such as ProLaw, ACRIS, and Westlaw.
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and demonstrate a proactive approach to tasks.
Strong research skills and proficiency in legal research tools.
