Observes equipment function and adjusts equipment to obtain optimum results to therapy. Inspects and tests respiratory therapy equipment to ensure equipment functions safely and efficiently.

- Monitors patient's physiological responses to therapy, such as vital signs, arterial blood gases, and blood chemistry changes. Performs bronchopulmonary drainage and assists patient in performing breathing exercises. Performs pulmonary function tests to be used by physician in diagnosis of case. Consults with physician in the event of adverse reactions.

- Graduate of a Co ARC (Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) approved Respiratory program required
- Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
- Basic Life Support or Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation required.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required

MHS provides enrolled students an amazing multitude of athletic opportunities, with access to state-of-the-art facilities and programs led by committed coaching staffs. MHS offers Varsity, JV, Junior High, and Recreational teams for 15 sports and intramural programs. Athletic programs begin in Elementary and Middle Division and culminate to the Senior Division Varsity level. Our program has produced many successful seasons ending with Mid Penn Conference, PIAA District III, and PIAA State Championships. Many athletes also advance to play at the college level after graduation from MHS.

MHS is currently seeking aMiddle School 7th & 8th grades Field Hockey Head Coach for one-year assignment.Qualified applicants should exhibit commitment to high achievement and support for all students in a diverse, multi-cultural environment. This is a one-year ancillary position, and the season runs from August to October with practices and games primarily Monday through Friday from 3:15 pm to 5:30 pm or 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Off-season work is flexible and necessary for this position. Stipend amount based on experience and working the entire season: $4,322.00 - $5,619.00/season.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Drivers license required.

- Has at least 1 year of successful coaching experience or experience playing at the collegiate level.

- Demonstrates knowledge of current coaching techniques, rules and regulations, and training theory of the sport.

- Must have the ability to teach beginner skills while also developing various skill level athletes in a positive and professional manner.

- Experience working with students from disadvantaged backgrounds is preferred.

- Demonstrated skills in providing safe, structured skill development practice and playing experiences, while also developing high character student athletes.

- Strong communication skills (verbal & written).

- Strong organizational and planning skills are required.

- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as all MHS staff are role models for MHS students.
