* Performs an appropriate physical examination on each patient seen, including; range of
motion testing, strength testing, sensation testing, palpation, functional testing,
ligamentous testing, and special tests as needed
* Orders and interpret diagnostic studies under the direction of a physician, including;
radiographs, MRIs, EMG studies, CT scans, diagnostic ultrasounds, rehabilitation
referrals, and physician referrals
* Provides educational responsibilities in specific to the needs of each individual patient,
including; exercise instruction and demonstration and answering patient questions in regards to the treatment plan, surgery, rehabilitation and future care
* Prepares patient for treatment/procedure in a timely manner.

* Performs treatment/procedures according to established guidelines
* Prepare and assist the physician with injection procedures done in the office
* Follows OSHA guidelines regarding body substance, isolation, disposal of sharps, etc.
* Documents accurately and timely in patient's record, all treatment/procedures done and
initials documentation.Minimum Qualifications:

* bachelor’s degree in athletic training, Physical Education, or Exercise Science or health
related profession required. Master’s Degree preferred.
* Current CPR/AED from American Heart Association certification required.
* First Assist Certification highly preferred.
LICENSURE:
* Nationally certified athletic trainer (ATC) and Florida state licensure required

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our outpatient clinic specializing in both neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation. Our model is built on true 1:1 patient care, allowing clinicians to provide high-quality, individualized treatment without the pressure of high-volume scheduling.This position is ideal for PTs who are passionate about complex cases, collaborative care, and evidence‑based practice.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide one-on-one outpatient physical therapy to patients with a mix of neurological and orthopedic diagnoses.
  • Evaluate and treat patients with conditions such as stroke, TBI, Parkinson’s disease, balance/vestibular disorders, postoperative orthopedic cases, sports injuries, spine dysfunction, and chronic pain.
  • Develop individualized plans of care based on patient goals, functional needs, and clinical findings.
  • Deliver skilled interventions including therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re‑education, gait training, manual therapy, balance retraining, and task-specific motor learning.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, safety, and long-term wellness strategies.
  • Communicate and collaborate with referring providers, interdisciplinary team members, and families.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support high-quality continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and fellow rehab professionals.

Skills, Knowledge, Education and Experience:
  • Licensed in the State of Florida as a Physical Therapist. 
  • B.S. degree or higher in Physical Therapy.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.
  • One year as a registered physical therapist in an acute care facility and program development preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Interpersonal communication skills in a team or interdisciplinary work situation.
  • Knowledge of personal computers
