As a Systems Safety Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Systems & Safety team and will report to the Systems & Safety Manager. As part of an experienced multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to expanding the aircraft's operational and functional capabilities. Responsibilities

In your role as a Systems Safety Engineer you will contribute to the development and architectural design supporting the delivery of prototypes and certifiable safety-critical flight systems in a dynamic start-up work environment.

You will have these responsibilities:

• Apply systems safety methodologies as defined by industry standards

• Develop new processes / methodologies used to certify autonomous / remote operations

• Perform safety activities in coordination with design, development and verification of aviation systems including: Generate safety artifacts such as FHAs & Safety Assessments for aircraft, systems and equipment. As a Harness Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the system integration team and will report to the System Integration Engineering Manager. The system integration team is a small group of highly motivated engineers designing, integrating, testing, and flying advanced mechanical and electrical systems. The harness engineer is a very cross-functional role at the convergence of the avionics, mechanical, integration, and production teams, with significant hands-on work designing, building, integrating, and testing our harnesses, enclosures, and mounting hardware; expect to broaden your design and application experience.

Responsibilities

In your role as a Harness Engineer you will work with the avionics, mechanical, and integration teams to define the harnessing design, including routing, component selection, and manufacturing and integration processes. You'll be responsible for the detailed design of both flight and test harnesses, and you'll be working with the production technicians and A&Ps to get the harnesses built and installed on the aircraft. You'll have the opportunity to design, install, and test your hardware on a remotely operated aircraft, and you'll be an instrumental part of how our hardware teams come together on the airplane.

Basic Success Criteria

• 2+ years experience in electrical harness design

In your role as Sr Avionics Hardware Engineer, you will design, analyze, document, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies at the circuit board through integrated electro-mechanical level. As a Senior Flight Test Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Flight Test and Integration team. The Flight Test and Integration team is responsible for multiple installation and test efforts at Reliable Robotics. The team regularly ensures the proper function of mechanical, electrical, and flight control systems onboard the aircraft. In addition, this team has ownership over all ground and flight test operations within the organization. The team is composed of individuals with experience developing experimental and certification products.

Responsibilities

In your role as Senior Flight Test Engineer, you will verify the function and capabilities of modified flight control systems, for a remotely operated autoflight system. You will ensure the proper build-up of functions and capabilities, beginning in the lab and ending up on the vehicle. You will be expected to verify the end-to-end functionality of the system and ensure the ability to assess all desired test requirements. This will require engaging with many teams throughout the organization and having a firm understanding of the vehicle's capabilities. As part of the flight test campaigns, you'll act as the responsible engineer for the vehicle and often as test director.

You will be architecting automated test stands to replicate extreme flight conditions on our hardware and mechanisms that will serve as the backbone of our qualification testing. You will help to break our development hardware, help root-cause the failure modes, and provide critical input in redesigning it. Within the Monetization ML Engineering team, we try to connect the dots between the aspirations of Pinners and the products offered by our partners. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a vision for the evolution of the machine learning technology stack within Ads.

What you'll do:

• 
  
• Build cutting edge technology using the latest advances in deep learning and machine learning to personalize Pinterest
  
• Partner closely with teams across Pinterest to experiment and improve ML models for various product surfaces (Homefeed, Ads, Growth, Shopping, and Search), while gaining knowledge of how ML works in different areas
  
• Use data driven methods and leverage the unique properties of our data to improve candidates retrieval
  
• Work in a high-impact environment with quick experimentation and product launches
  
• Keep up with industry trends in recommendation systems
  
• Leverage LLMs to enhance content understanding
  

What we're looking for:

• 
  
• 2+ years of industry experience applying machine learning methods (e.g., user modeling, personalization, recommender systems, search, ranking, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, and graph representation learning)
  
• Degree in computer science, machine learning, statistics, or related field
  
• End-to-end hands-on experience with building data processing pipelines, large scale machine learning systems, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop/Spark)
  
• Practical knowledge of large scale recommender systems, or modern ads ranking, retrieval, targeting, marketplace systems
