We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team at the Utah Neurological Clinic in Provo, Utah. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to our mission by delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our neurosurgical services.Responsibilities
- Rounding at hospitals (Utah Valley, St. Mark's Hospital, Lone Peak Hospital)
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for our postop patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options, post operative restrictions, and post operative care.
- Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Utah.
- Current Physician Assistant license in the state of Utah.
- Proven experience in critical care, Spine Surgery or Neurosurgery settings preferred.
- Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, and Athena.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Prior experience with rounding on postoperative spine patients is preferred.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
