A healthcare services company throughout New York is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their team. Responsibilities: The Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) will:
- Review and make recommendations on consumer assessments for long term care services and supports.
- Maintain current knowledge of regulatory changes pertaining to quality and validity of assessments.
- Assess cases presented and utilizes clinical competencies to review and validate assessment outcomes.

Qualifications:

- Computer savvy

Provides evaluations, assessment and diagnoses for the purpose of prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications. Provides medication assistance treatment (MAT) services to clients with substance use disorders, including low threshold buprenorphine. Consults with collaborating psychiatrist and counseling/other staff for treatment planning and crisis management. Maintains electronic client case records according to regulatory and agency defined standards. Provides coverage for other prescribers as necessary.
Current licensure in NYS as Nurse Practitioner or Physician?s Assistant with prescribing authority. Current DEA certification. Prefer experience in outpatient clinic serving clients diagnosed with mental health or chemical addiction NPI eligible. Eight- hour MATE training or equivalent required upon time of hire.

MHS is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique and life-changing career, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home. Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family-like environment that fosters students’ academic, emotional, and social development so they can reach their full potential.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing daily supervision and mentorship
- Managing household routines and student schedules
