Duties and Responsibilities:
As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation’s economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.
Typical assignments include:
- Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
- Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers of aliens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations.

- Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.
- Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
- Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.
If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.
GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as:

I’m currently partnering with a well-established aerospace manufacturing organization that is looking to bring on a Vice President of Engineering & Manufacturing to lead both product development and production operations.
This is a key executive leadership role responsible for driving the design, manufacturing, and delivery of highly engineered aerospace systems used on global aircraft platforms. The role oversees engineering, production, materials planning, and supply chain while working closely with program management, operations, and executive leadership.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
• Leading aerospace programs from design through production and delivery
• Overseeing engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and materials planning
• Driving operational efficiency, cost control, and production scalability
• Partnering with program management and commercial teams to support program execution and accurate cost estimates
• Implementing continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and manufacturing operations
• Ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Developing and mentoring leadership across engineering and production teams
What They’re Looking For
• 15+ years of experience in aerospace or complex manufacturing environments
• 10+ years leading engineering or production teams
• Strong experience supporting aerospace hardware programs from development through production
• Background in AS9100 or other regulated manufacturing environments
• Experience driving Lean manufacturing / operational improvement initiatives
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field
• Ability to obtain U.S. security clearance is preferred

Key ResponsibilitiesAdministrative Support
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
- Prepare client correspondence, policy documents, and presentation materials.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper files for all client and policy records.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and mail related to client accounts and insurance carriers.
Client Service
Respond to client inquiries regarding life and disability insurance policies.
Assist clients with applications, claims, policy changes, and follow-ups.
Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely resolution of client needs.
Policy and Application Processing
Assist in completing and submitting new business applications.
Track pending applications and communicate with carriers to ensure timely issuance.
Verify accuracy of data and documentation in client files.
Agent Support
Prepare reports, proposals, and insurance illustrations as requested by the agent.
Maintain knowledge of current products, underwriting requirements, and compliance standards.
Support marketing and outreach initiatives, including client communications and event coordination.
Compliance and Recordkeeping
Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and company compliance standards.
Maintain confidentiality of all client and business information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of administrative experience (insurance industry preferred).
- Working knowledge of life and disability insurance terminology and processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel (Vlook Up), Word, Powerpoint, and CRM systems (e.g., AgencyBloc).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Licensed in Life & Health Insurance (or willingness to obtain license).
