What will you do?
- Attend pre-shift briefing, taking note of important service information
- Collaborate with Chef, kitchen team members, and servers to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food; assist with the presentation of courses
- Complete any required table-side service which may include taking and delivering orders and explaining the menu to guests

The Patient Educator, Specialty (RN) collaborates with medical practitioners and leaders to incorporate chronic disease education into the plan of care for a specialized group of patients. The incumbent in this role is responsible for helping to improve patient health outcomes by promoting and facilitating disease education with the patient and/or family member(s) thereby ensuring their active involvement in care and care decisions. He/She performs direct specialty nursing services to patients as required, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and all related policies, procedures, and guidelines. The Patient Educator, Specialty (RN), is also accountable for the development and delivery of clinical education to patients that increases their knowledge of disease processes, improves patient engagement in care, and reduces hospital and ER admissions.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides chronic disease education relative to quality care for a specific patient population. Coordinates care between their primary care physicians, community specialists and vendor services including hospitals.
- Monitors chronic disease program performance across multiple medical centers. Identifies gaps and implements improvements in patient and quality outcomes.
- Assists with the development of strategies for quality improvement and management related to disease education.
- Collaborates with medical center leaders and PCPs to evaluate, develop and implement patient education programs through needs assessment analysis.
- Educates patients and/or family member(s) by gaining an understanding of their cultural and religious practices, emotional barriers, desire and motivation to learn, physical and/or cognitive limitations, language barriers and readiness to learn.
- Identifies opportunities to minimize fragmentation of health care for patients.
- Encourages decision-making about health care options by ensuring the patient and/or family member(s) understand the patient's health status.
- Maximizes care skills by observing the patient and/or family member(s) ability to cope with patient's health status/prognosis/outcome and pivoting communication as necessary.
- Enriches the patient’s overall health by promoting and encouraging healthy lifestyles.
- Selects, adapts and individualizes patient education information by analyzing available brochures, printed materials, videos and other resources that align with the age, culture, religious practices, language, etc. of the patient.
- Documents patient care services in patients’ chart and department records as determined by internal policies and procedures and external laws, rules and regulations.
- Improves quality results by studying, evaluating and re-designing processes; implements changes as needed.
- Coordinates care activities with transitional care team and case management to decrease hospitalizations and lengths of stay.
- Develops trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders to determine areas of opportunity supplemented with remediation strategies.
- Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong business acumen and acuity
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of general nursing and nursing education functions, practices, processes, procedures, techniques and methods

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:
- BS in Nursing (BSN) degree required
- A minimum of 2 years’ specialty care nursing experience required
- A valid, active RN license required; Nursing Compact license preferred
- Teaching/training experience required (clinical or patient education preferred)
- Experience working with geriatric patients highly desirable
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) or similar nursing certification a plus
- 2 years of dialyiss experience
PAY RANGE:
$76,732 - $109,617 SalaryThe posted pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for this position. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for a bonuses or commissions.

Responsibilities: Internal Communications Support the Head of Corporate Communication on Amerant’s internal communication program across all platforms, including company intranet, email communication for all employees, email newsletters, and other print/digital mediums that may be developed to successfully communicate corporate messages.
Work in collaboration with Head of Corporate Communications to maintain and manage an editorial calendar that highlights key business priorities, team member engagement stories, and cultural milestones.
Produce clear, engaging content across formats: emails, intranet, newsletters and multimedia campaigns
- with an emphasis on clarity, tone, and storytelling.
Own maintenance of company’s intranet, The Insider.
This includes page updates, creation of new pages, look & feel revamps based on company’s needs and platform mandatory updates.
Help align internal communications activities with social media, Public Relations and Community Relations activities for maximum effectiveness.
Assist with content creation (multi-media) for company-wide town halls/virtual meetings.
Work in close partnership with Human Resources to support communications and internal programs related to team member engagement, organizational change, onboarding, DEI, benefits, Open Enrollment, learning programs performance management, team recognition and culture-building campaigns External Communications Execute content posting across all external communications channels including social media, website (institutional), external blog.
Serve as back up to the Content & Social Media Manager.
Work in close partnership with Marketing to support business objectives.
Social Media Work in collaboration with the Content & Social Media Manager to generate compelling, creative, relevant social media content, most specifically content targeting employees and employee experience.
Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
Attend events and produce live social media content.

Minimum Education and/or Certifications Requirements: Bachelor degree in communication, marketing or a related field required.
OR minimum 4 years of work experience in a corporate communications/marketing department.
Minimum Work Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of corporate communications, marketing and/or public relations agency experience required; 3 years of corporate communications and/or public relations/marketing agency experience preferred.
Technical and/or Other Essential Knowledge: Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills both in English and Spanish, ability to handle multiple priorities and complete tasks.

As the Infusion Coordinator , you would be responsible for supporting the daily operations of a growing infusion program by managing patient intake, insurance authorizations, scheduling, and biologic medication procurement.
This role serves as the primary liaison between patients, providers, pharmacy partners, and payers to ensure seamless coordination of infusion services.
The position requires strong knowledge of Buy & Bill workflows, specialty medication purchasing, and prior authorization processes to optimize patient access and operational efficiency.
· Coordinate patient referrals, intake, and scheduling for infusion services.
· Verify insurance coverage and secure prior authorizations for biologic therapies.
· Procure and manage biologic medications under Buy & Bill protocols.
· Serve as the main point of contact between patients, providers, pharmacies, and infusion staff.
· Maintain accurate EMR documentation while tracking authorizations, inventory, and medication availability.
