Job Description
The Cat Scan Technologist performs computer tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation and assisting with interventional and therapeutic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex CT procedures and ensure patient clinical history is well documented.
- Prepare and review contrast questionnaires with patients and families.
- Administer contrast media as prescribed and verify appropriateness of exams.
- Obtain outside studies and schedule them for radiologists' review.
- Evaluate radiographs to ensure diagnostic quality.
- Prep patients for scanning, addressing their concerns and ensuring safety.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and perform necessary maintenance procedures.
- Adhere to company policies regarding attendance, behavior, and safety.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Trauma 1 center as a CT Technologist.
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program.
- New Jersey DEP Diagnostic Radiography License.
- ARRT Certified R.T.(R) license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association within three months of hire.
- ARRT (CT) certification must be achieved within twelve months following the hire date.

Hackensack Meridian Health and the Department of Medicine/Geriatrics at Jersey Shore University Medical Center is seeking a faculty physician to also serve as Associate Director of Geriatric Consult Service. In this role, you will oversee both administrative and clinical programs within the Department of Medicine and support geriatric initiatives in other areas, such as Emergency Medicine and Surgery.

A day in the life of a Patient Care Technician at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

Job DetailsThe Sales Associate acts as a point of contact for our customers. The duties of the Sales Associate include assisting customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operating the cash register, stocking merchandise, recovering merchandise, cleaning the store, and performing other duties as assigned by the Store Manager to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets.
Duties and Essential Job Functions- Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
- Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment from customers and make change, bag merchandise, and assist customers with merchandise as necessary.
- Follow company merchandise processes; unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves and build merchandise displays.
- Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop store floors, clean restroom and receiving room, and help set up sidewalk displays.
Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills. Understanding of safety policies and practices. Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance. Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures. Basic mathematical skills. Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Frequent walking and standing
- Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling to run check out station, stock merchandise and unload trucks; which may also require the ability to push and/or pull rolltainers for stocking merchandise
- Frequent handling of merchandise and equipment such as handheld scanners, pricing guns, box cutters, merchandise containers, two-wheel dollies, U-boats (six-wheel carts), and rolltainers
- Frequent and proper lifting of up to 40 pounds; occasional lifting of up to 55 pounds. Occasional climbing (using step ladder) up to heights of six feet
- Fast-paced environment; moderate noise level
- Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions
