Northern Region: Port Huron, MI Southeast Region: Houma, LA Southwest Region: San Diego, CA Duties and Responsibilities As a Marine Interdiction Agent, you will perform marine-based law enforcement operations for the detection, prevention, interdiction, and apprehension of terrorists, terrorist weapons, and other contraband and persons from illegally entering or attacking the United States.
Typical duties may include: Monitoring behavior patterns and activities of suspect persons, vehicles, or vessels believed to be engaged in illegal activities.
Interpreting radar data to calculate appropriate intercept while tracking vessels and people to a successful interdiction.
Searching persons, vessels, baggage, and cargo for contraband or weapons incidental to detention or arrest.
Collecting, refining, and analyzing strategic and tactical intelligence.
Qualifications This GS-11 grade level position has a selective factor: As a minimum qualification requirement all candidates must have a qualifying Merchant Mariner Credential.

You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Independently applying advanced skill in controlling/commanding law enforcement scenes to include conducting searches, making arrests, processing arrests and seizure of evidence and property.
Conducting investigative inquiries using various techniques, examining files and records, physical and documentary evidence to identify logical conclusions.
Utilizing cameras and other electronic high-tech surveillance equipment to gather evidence, collect, evaluate, and then preserve that physical and documentary evidence.
Highly skilled in writing comprehensive arrest, criminal and incident reports.
Assisting government or state attorneys in preparation for court cases or grand juries, testifies as a law enforcement officer in court proceedings, and administrative forums.
Considerable experience applying arrest authorities and constitutional law in various alleged criminal situations, or knowledge and experience of CBP laws, regulations, policies, legal precedent.
OR GS-11 Education Substitution for experience: A Ph.D.
or equivalent doctoral degree, three (3) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.M.

In Texas, there is a judicial process for validating the Gestational Contract (the contract between the intended parents and the surrogate). Included within the various requirements for having a Gestational Contract validated by a Texas court is that the intended parents must be married and the surrogate must have previously carried a child to term. Additionally, there are residency requirements that apply to either the surrogate or the intended parents, but not both.
Compensation for a surrogate services generally starts in the range of $35,000 - $40,000, for base compensation with over all fees up to 70k, in many cases. CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) Search has been retained by Menemsha to identify a Senior Estimator to serve their team. The Senior Estimator is responsible for preparing budgets, estimates, and pre-bid packages for construction projects to be built for clients under various contractual relationships. Responsibilities also include; working directly with the subcontractors, business development and project management teams developing sections of schematic, design development and construction document estimates including soliciting and evaluating subcontractor bids, and scopes of work, preparing quantity surveys, reviewing project plans and specifications for various categories of work including both large, small and program projects.

What Youβll Do:
- Lead with timely roll-out and execution of the entire estimate deliverable process
- Conduct initial analysis of drawings and specifications to ensure required documentation is present and determine scope of work
- Develop full-scope estimates based on construction document
- Critically analyze bid documents and understand risk and opportunities and articulate those to management
- Resourceful and diligent in seeking solutions to problems and adapting to new situations
- Provide detailed quantity take off of specific trades when required
- Create detailed cost estimates
- Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing input when required
- Attend project site pre-bid meetings, site tours, and post-bid interviews as required
- Develops unit costs accurately
- Performs technical/plan review when require
- Accurately assesses and plans takeoff workload
- Gather and monitor actual cost vs. estimated cost, maintaining project cost history
- Builds effective relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support company core values and meets or exceeds the customerβs expectations
- Manage multiple projects concurrently with an ability to multitask
- Knowledge and efficiency in the following Software: Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook)
- Perform ROM budgets on projects of all sizes
- Work with Design/Build teams on regular constructability reviews
- Work with bid coordination to ensure adequate coverage
- Work with bid coverage to ensure all vending pricing is accurate
- Speak with vendors and subcontractors to qualify bids
- Ability to speak with clients β this is especially true for ROM budgeting.
- Ability to work with PM to establish correct schedule for projects
What Youβll Need:
- Bachelorβs Degree, preferably in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Estimating, or equivalent
- Have some public bidding experience
- Be able to estimate projects between $1M and $30M
- Have ability to conceptualize ROM pricing from basic info provided by owners
- Working knowledge of Excel spread sheets, Procore and Word processing programs
- Experience with estimating take-off software such as Planswift
- Understanding of the influence of market conditions on pricing
- Vast knowledge of all trades: scope, time frames/field execution, typical missed scope/exposures
- Solid conceptual estimating experience

RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
- Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed (team atmosphere where everyone helps)
- Operate a variety of Class B trucksΒ
- Loading and unloading of trucks
- Ensure customer satisfaction at time of service.
- Proper placarding of vehicles to meet Company and DOT requirements/regulations
- Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports
- Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
- Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
- Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures
- Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
- Performs other duties as assigned
- By position, ability to be on call for emergency response on rotating basis every other week
- By position, site-remediation, equipment decontamination, and the handling of hazardous materials.Β
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Class B CDLΒ
- Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment
- Ability to use various mobile devices
- Perform physical functions per job requirements
- Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position
- Per OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard, 29 CFR 1910.34, employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards.
