Job DetailsGeneral Summary:
Function as a cashier and/or stocker and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the store manager or assistant store manager. Assist in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs. Shift: Part Time Days every third weekend, every other holiday.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of patient care. The professional nurse assumes the responsibility and accountability for the delegation of patient care to other members of the healthcare team.
Provides total, comprehensive care to patients by applying the nursing process in an organized and systemic manner according to hospital policy.
Communicates proactively to the health care team, plan of care, changes in patient condition, the patient progress, the discharge plan and other relevant information.
Documents assessment/reassessment, plan, interventions and outcomes according to policy and interprets and utilizes clinical data in the plan of care:
Documents pain assessment and plan of care.
Documents fall risk and plan of care
Documents wound risk and plan of care.
Interprets & utilizes clinical data in the plan of care.
Assesses patient for potential risk factors.
Performs accurate and thorough nursing physical assessment.
Participates in discharge planning, using a multi-disciplinary approach.
Education and Training
BSN or BS/BA degree in Nursing Certification and Licensure
Current RN Pennsylvania state license required.
Current BCLS required or obtained by completion of orientation.
ACLS required or obtained by completion of orientation if Applicable to Area of Practice.
Professional certifications preferred.
Experience

In this role the Ultrasound Technologist, under the general supervision of an attending radiologist, and in accordance with department protocols, the ultra-sonographer utilizes high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques to produce and evaluate ultrasound images and related data which is used by physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis resulting in quality patient care. Will supports General Ultrasound- Level Trauma 1; working independently
What you'll do
- Performs and demonstrates competence in ultrasonic scanning procedures by producing, assessing and evaluating ultrasound images and related data that are used by physicians to render a medical diagnosis.
- Recognizing, identifying and appropriately documenting normal anatomy, abnormalities, disease, pathology and pathophysiology for accurate medical diagnosis.
- Performing all types of ultrasound procedures and services, in accordance with department protocol, to ensure appropriate patient care for patients in all age categories (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric).
- Completing ultrasonic scans within given procedure time parameters when performing ultrasonic scans so as to expedite patient care.
Here is what you'll need
Required:
- Associate Degree; graduate from an accredited two-year Ultrasound Program, required; OR equivalent training acquired via work experience
- Specific Degree(s): AMA approved Sonography program;
- Graduate of a CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) approved school of Ultrasound Technology
- Less than one year of previous job-related experience
- New Graduates- 9-month ultrasound coursework experience including clinical rotation
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Licensure/Certifications
Required:
- CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) from American Heart Association ONLY
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)-Specialization in Abdomen, Ob/Gyn or PS
- Other: New Graduate obtain certification within 3 months of hire
