JOB TITLE: Construction Project Manger

DURATION: 12+ month contract

LOCATION: ON-SITE 5 days a week in Renton, WA

Project Overview:

Insight Global's client is investing heavily in modernizing their meeting spaces to provide a world-class experience for their employees across the country. In this high impact role, you’ll be leading a portfolio of construction projects in collaboration with general contractors, internal real estate and facilities teams, and vendors

Must Have Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in project and construction management in commercial and office spaces
• 5+ years of experience managing projects and applying standard project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Gantt charts, MS PowerPoint, status charts, resource load charts)
• Expert level use of Microsoft project, or comparable project management software.
• Fluent using Microsoft suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using AutoCAD and Procore or similar project management technologies

Nice to Haves:

• Experience constructing or remodeling collaborative spaces such as conference rooms, auditoriums, offices and event spaces.
• Bachelor's degree or higher (architecture, project management, construction management, engineering/technical related fields preferred)
• Project leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing environment supporting facilities and/or building infrastructure
• Experience monitoring & coordinating implementation activities such as relocations, construction, utility budget management, schedule, and project reviews

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of small to mid-sized facilities projects from pre-construction planning through project execution to project closeout
• Develop project requirements, integrated plans, and detailed work breakdown structure to achieve objectives within established scope, budget, and schedule
• Monitor and communicates project status, current baselines, changes, risks/ issues/ opportunities, and help needed
• Performs variance analysis, critical path scheduling, cash flow projections, cost tracking, and makes recommendations for change
• Coordinates ongoing project tasks and serves as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, architects and engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and external suppliers
• Performs project management and change management activities in accordance with industry principles and standards
• Completes closeout of projects and documents lessons learned

Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

3 Month Contract

Position Summary

• We are seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A with a strong foundation in financial modeling, strategic planning, and operational finance—ideally from a venture-backed SaaS or tech environment. This is a high-impact, hands-on individual contributor role designed for someone who blends analytical rigor with business intuition and has the confidence to partner across functions and with executive leadership.
• This role is well-suited for someone who started their career in investment banking and has since grown within finance roles at high-growth companies. If you're an MBA with sharp financial acumen, a bias for action, and the ability to translate data into insights and craft compelling presentations for executives and the board, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasting as well as annual budgeting and long-range planning in partnership with functional and executive teams.
• Develop and maintain financial models that support business strategy and headcount/resource planning.
• Deliver strategic insights through deep analysis of key performance drivers and metrics, particularly for SaaS and recurring revenue streams.
• Collaborate with department heads to support pricing strategies and go-to-market investments.
• Support board reporting, fundraising efforts, and investor communications with concise and visually impactful PowerPoint presentations.
• Provide analytical support for corporate development, capital allocation, and scenario planning.
• Optimize FP&A systems and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency (Adaptive, Workday, Salesforce, Kluster).

Qualifications

• MBA from a top-tier program; undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or related field.
• 2+ years of investment banking or strategic finance experience (M&A or tech coverage preferred).
• 6+ years total experience in FP&A or strategic finance roles, ideally with a venture-backed tech or SaaS company.
• Demonstrated ability to drive clarity in ambiguous environments and influence senior leaders.
• Exceptional modeling, forecasting, and Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to distill complex financial issues into actionable recommendations and presentation-ready content.
• Experience with financial planning systems such as Adaptive, Workday, Salesforce, and Kluster.

About the Role

A Senior Experimental Physicist is a technical leader and senior individual contributor within Avalanche's Science organization. This role is responsible for advancing plasma physics understanding as it applies directly to Avalanche's fusion systems, while operating comfortably in an environment of rapid iteration, incomplete information, and evolving requirements.

This is not a purely academic role. You will work closely with experimental systems, diagnostics, simulations, and cross-functional engineering teams to inform design decisions, interpret results, and guide next experiments. You are expected to exercise strong scientific judgment, propose new approaches, and help the team move faster and smarter—even when the path forward is not fully defined.

In this role you're responsible for:

• Design, analyze, and interpret plasma experiments in close collaboration with the broader science team and engineers.
• Contribute to rapid test–learn cycles by translating results into clear, actionable recommendations for future experiments.
• Integrate experimental data, simulations, and theory to inform conclusions and guide next steps.
• Help define which questions matter most at a given stage of development and where effort is best focused.
• Work closely with engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, software) to ensure plasma physics considerations are reflected in system design.
• Communicate complex plasma physics concepts clearly to non-plasma specialists across the organization.
• Support product and system trade studies by providing scientifically grounded input.
• Act as a technical mentor to junior scientists and engineers.
• Share knowledge, review analyses, and contribute to a collaborative and curious science culture.
• Help strengthen team practices around documentation, analysis, and communication.

About you:

• PhD in plasma physics or a closely related field, or equivalent depth of experience.
• 3+ years post-PhD experience in a plasma related R&D environment working closely with hardware and diagnostics.
• Demonstrated ability to approach complex plasma physics problems analytically
• Comfortable interpreting theory, simulation, and experimental results .
• Ability to work with a diverse team as well as operate independently, prioritize work, and make progress in ambiguous environments.
• Clear communicator who can explain complex ideas across disciplines.
• Comfort iterating quickly and revising assumptions as new data emerges.
• Comfortable coding in python or similar languages

Bonus skills & experience:

• Direct experience working with fusion relevant plasma diagnostics
